Light pilaf according to the Uzbek recipe (Steba DD1 Eco)

Ingredients

meat 500g
carrot 500g
rice 500g
water a finger's width above rice

Cooking method

  • Girls, I want to share a recipe for pilaf
  • Plov was taught to cook by my mother, and my Uzbek great-grandmother taught her. We in our international family use pork, although in the original, of course, lamb or even horse meat is better)))
  • I always cook pilaf when we receive guests - it is easy and quick to make it (I love guests, but I don’t like to wrap myself half to death))), it turns out awesome!
  • I admit, we use the simplest option (minimum of ingredients), because our family does not like the rest of the products in pilaf, although I know that they also put onions, garlic, spices there ...
  • use metal a saucepan, because the heating in it is powerful.
  • 1. Switch on the CB to the mode roasting, 10 min, wait for signal, pour oil
  • 2. While the pan is heating, cut the meat into medium pieces
  • 3. put the meat in a saucepan, close the lid completely. The "roasting" mode is quite aggressive, just what is needed for pilaf.
  • 4. While the meat is fried, cut the carrots into bars.
  • Attention! *** Carrots need to be cut into bars that look like French fries, and not grated, otherwise it will turn into porridge
  • 5. After the signal, let off steam, open the lid, salt and throw in the carrots. Mode LID OPEN roasting, 5-7 minutes, depending on the amount of food. Stir from time to time. If necessary, add more rast. butter (sorry, this is by eye, pilaf loves butter)
  • 6. While the carrots are fried, wash the rice. The better we rinse, the more crumbly the pilaf will be.
  • 7. After the signal about the end of frying, level the level of fried carrots and meat. Pour rice on top. Align the rice. Pour gently cold water. (probably hot, to speed up, but I prefer not to speed up this dish)))
  • *** Pour water so that it covers the rice a finger's width.
  • *** without stirring !!!
  • 8. Mode porridge, 0.3, 30 min. An extraordinary aroma floats through the house ...
  • 9.open, mix
  • you can cover and let it brew. You can eat right away
  • meat fried with carrots
  • Light pilaf according to the Uzbek recipe (Steba DD1 Eco)
  • apply rice, align
  • Light pilaf according to the Uzbek recipe (Steba DD1 Eco)
  • gently pour cold water to the thickness of an elegant finger, put the "porridge" 0.3, 30 minutes
  • Light pilaf according to the Uzbek recipe (Steba DD1 Eco)
  • after the end of the program, now you need to mix
  • Light pilaf according to the Uzbek recipe (Steba DD1 Eco)
  • this is the remaining half - I didn't have time to take the first one
  • Light pilaf according to the Uzbek recipe (Steba DD1 Eco)

Time for preparing:

15 min + 30 min

Cooking program:

roasting, porridge 0.3

Note

did also on "porridge", 0.7, 15 minutes. It seemed to me that 0.3 and 30 are tastier. But they did not notice the differences at home, in two sessions they kept everything clean - we love pilaf in our family (rare unanimity)

I will put the photo in the next. time

Raduga)
Galya, try the same thing, the current without meat, we ate this way before (when we held it). It will still turn out delicious)))
this pilaf can be made from any meat and poultry.
The main thing is to cut the carrots into cubes and pour water optimally.
that's all the tricks

Awesome pilaf! Took into service. I've never risked cooking pilaf in a pressure cooker before, I thought I would only spoil it. I did it on the stove in the cauldron. But I will definitely do it according to your recipe. Thank you
