Cooking method

  • Koenigsberg klops is a German cuisine dish, i.e. meatballs sprinkled with caper sauce. A special feature is that the klops are not fried, but boiled in broth.
  • Soak the bun in milk, finely chop the onion and lightly fry in oil. Mix the minced meat with fried onions, add the squeezed bun, egg, mustard, salt, pepper, mix well and beat off the minced meat.
  • We form the balls.
  • Pour the broth into the saucepan of the pressure cooker. You can take any broth, or meat, or prepare vegetable from roots such as onions, carrots, celery, etc.
  • I cooked bone broth, poured some for soup, and left some for klops. I had it hot, so I put the klops in it and put it on the Soup for 7 minutes. I blew off the pressure neatly, caught the bugs with a slotted spoon on a plate, and poured the broth into a dose.
  • I washed the saucepan. She switched on the Roasting, fried the flour in butter and carefully, stirring continuously, added the broth and cream. Boiled a little, added capers. She turned off the saucepan, put the klops in the sauce, closed the lid and left it to infuse.
  • Served with boiled potatoes.

Note

There are many recipes for klops, some add anchovies, lemon, paprika, nutmeg to the minced meat.
I like the simplest klops, no spices, easy to make, very tasty.
