Cooking method

  • This dish tastes very much like dumplings with potatoes. That's why I love him. Yes, and less fuss.
  • So, knead the dough from the first five ingredients and leave it under the bowl for fifteen minutes. Then we divide it into 4 parts. We send three under the bowl, and from the fourth we make a sausage about the size of a thumb.

  • Pour some flour into a deep plate. Cut the sausage into 1 cm thick pieces and bathe them in flour. They turn out to be so tiny:

  • We do not shake flour from them. Flatten each dumpling with a fork crosswise. A fork has such a bad habit of sticking to the dough. But you do not need to try to tear it off, just, holding the cake with your fingers, pull the fork out of it, pressing, as if we want to cut the dumpling.

  • After a couple of dumplings, you will understand that I am going and the case will fly at a dizzying speed. All work on dumplings takes no more than 15 minutes. We put them on a board and, covering with a towel so as not to dry out, set them aside for now. If you don't feel like fiddling with a fork, just flatten the dummy with your finger and be done!

  • We take a saucepan of at least 4 liters. Pour half of water and set on fire. While the water is boiling, peel the potatoes and onions. Cut the onion into thick quarters. It turns out not too small, but not too large. Pour water over the potatoes, let them wait. Our water boiled in a saucepan, we add salt so much that the water is a little salty, we still have to cook potatoes in it. We send dumplings there and boil for 10 minutes. Then add potatoes to the dumplings in the same place and cook it until tender, not paying attention to dumplings. Because these radishes can tumble in boiling water for at least an hour with butterfly and even for the sake of respect for you, as the main thing in the kitchen, they will not change their shape. And only slightly puffy and become a little more plump, but not boiled over. While this whole thing is being cooked, fry the onions in a mixture of butter and rast in a pan. oils. You can pepper. Fry the onion harder to almost brown, trying not to burn it. When the potatoes are ready, cover the pan with a lid and drain the water, but not all of it, but leave it at the bottom of 1-2 cm. This will be our "sauce". I use a pasta pot with a snap-on lid.
