Recently I thought about purchasing new pots, pans, baking dishes and began to conduct research for myself: from what material to buy all this? So that would serve longer and not harmful to health! Eeeeeeeh, and how I wanted a Tefalevskaya frying pan for pancakes and eggs (somewhere I heard that they are not very useful, but what is it?)! Well Duc I found a VERY interesting article on the internet, I think everyone who looks after their health will find it very useful to read it carefully!

Recently I thought about purchasing new pans,

I recently updated my pans, I was looking closely at what to choose for a long time.
As a result, I settled on Tescom, Home Profi series
I am very pleased with them.
Look, maybe you will like it.

Nice, only it says there about the representative office in Odessa, and in Kiev where to see all this live? And how much does this stainless pleasure cost, maybe the prices are the same as those of the Zepter? What good we know, but the price for this good is often overpriced!;)

Such pots are sold in regular stores (NOT through representatives), prices are low for imported stainless steel dishes. 2 liter - from a thousand rubles (including the lid), the larger the volume, the more expensive.

A good substitute for Zepter is Berghoff dishes, even in shape and properties, but much cheaper. In terms of practicality, it is in no way inferior to the Zepter.
They even have the same dishes in shape and number of items - it is not known who from whom and when. Only the Zepter was promoted a long time ago, and Berghoff was launched not so long ago, in Moscow there is their company store, and in large trading markets you can buy completely in a set.
Rezlina
And what about Salda dishes? Also, I heard, is considered a good replacement for Zepter
Svetlana
I have been using BergHOFF cookware for 6 years. I am very satisfied. I bought the whole set at once, which then cost 6 tons, the lids are ordinary, without a thermal sensor (I listened to the advice of the seller), which I do not regret a bit. We have opened several BergHOFF stores in St. Petersburg, where you can buy everything separately, but the prices are of course ... But when choosing dishes, always pay attention to steel, it should be 18/10. Good luck.
Mams
Cookware from Verkhnyaya Salda has a good reputation. The pans are good.

But I had such a bowl for making jam (that's how they sold it to me, just for jam), then I still had a gas stove.

I did not like. The jam always burned to it. It was a pure agony to wash it off - I had to peel it off with a stiff (wire) brush.

But stainless steel pots - I really like them. I think any pots from normal manufacturers will be good. I myself have some Italian ones, I don't remember now. They stand like this: 3L. pan - about 1 thousand rubles.I bought it in a saucepan, the set was cheaper.

I wouldn't buy enameled and aluminum ones for anything.

And pancake pans - I have two - Neva-metal. Heavy with tephon coating. Light Tefalevskie bends instantly, and these already serve for two years - I am very pleased. True, now I heard that their quality has deteriorated ... it's sad.
Admin
I also used the Berghoff, and still buy individual items.

And now I would put this brand on the design, on the quality of cooking in it and the properties of the dishes (high-quality thick bottom and 18/10 steel) in first place among the manufacturers of such dishes. It is not covered with stains and streaks inside and after cleaning and washing it has its original appearance, the external polishing is also of high quality.

And the jam in these pots (with a thick bottom) is very good to cook

Five years of merciless exploitation. One minus, by its own oversight, the plastic handle on the jam pot (the largest) overheated. The bottom of all the pots is still perfectly flat, although in the summer half of them live in the country, on a gas stove.
Now I buy pots with all-metal handles.

And the other day I bought 3 pots from Salda. Something has not yet understood what their charm is
Yes, and did not take the pens from plastic (the seller discouraged it, it is cumbersome), but now I regret ... constantly use the potholder ... And some kind of stain appeared inside the pan
I'll go to the Berghoff website I'll go ...

Users of BergHOFF pans (and the like), but how are they used (does it burn, does it stick)? Will it replace a cast iron skillet? What is better cast iron or stainless steel?

Congratulations on your purchase! And what do you regret, Duc is good! Plastic is plastic! They put it on the fire in a wrong way (if you have a fire, of course), the saucepan was overheated and cranky - there was no marketable appearance! And the best plastic has a shelf life, and stainless steel for centuries !!: D
Even at the presentations of Berghoff, Zepters, consultants say and warn that the handles need to be protected from fire (even though they have special heat-resistant plastic on them)!
Girulka
..... The Teskom cookware has a three-layer bottom, and the BergHOFF pots have a six-layer bottom! .......

Teskoma has a cute "Vision" set with transparent lids and cool pens.
Do you need a transparent cover at all? In my opinion it is very convenient (I did not use it, but I think so), but in your opinion?

Metal - there is metal, of course it will burn, you can only heat it up in them without problems, or cook something easy.

The best pans are cast iron! Now there are good pans with a thick cast iron base and thin walls with lids. Especially ceramic. Their price is impressive, but so is the quality.

These firms have only metal handles! But they are made so that they never get hot. no matter how much they keep on fire

Do not regret that you did not take the plastic, you have chosen correctly.
Girulka wrote everything correctly, and plus also think that these pans (without plastic parts) you can use in the oven.
As for the spots, then:
1.Drip a few drops of lemon juice into the bottom of a saucepan and wipe clean. Everything will disappear. Checked.
2. try to salt the liquid AFTER boiling.

I have German saucepans for 15 years with plastic handles and glass lids and are still in excellent condition. For me personally, glass lids are convenient because of them all the kind that is done in the pan. And they recently gave me a stainless steel Tefal pot that costs about 1800 rubles. the lid is the same made of stainless steel at a certain angle you turn it and steam comes out of the pan, the handles are rubberized, I was not happy with it. After once cooking, stains remained at the bottom.

to the question of cast-iron pans .. tired of the ever-deforming tefal, bought 3 Ukrainian cast-iron frying pans - a pancake, a regular one and a stewpan, all with wooden handles, quite expensive .. I can't spit for the third month .. how much I don't cook them with salt, with butter , in the oven, on the stove, etc. ... everything sticks to them and burns just tightly .. I also wash them in the old fashioned way with a sponge without washing liquid, so as not to destroy the burnt layer of oil, which, in theory, should provide non-stick after absorption in porous cast iron .. NIFIGA !!!! cast iron, I'll tell you not the same .. there are ceramic bells and whistles .. I will look ..

That's right! Now it's hard to find a real cast iron. I heard somewhere that they are making cast iron with the addition of some iron right now. Maybe it's true, so if you leave such a "cast-iron" frying pan overnight, not washed and with water, it will become rusty! Has this ever happened before? And a real cast-iron frying pan, it is too heavy, not that right now - you take a type of cast-iron, and it is not light and not heavy as it used to be! And the salespeople with foam of mouth prove that it is cast iron.

And what kind of ceramic brands are they?

Cast iron has always rusted, and it used to be too.

Black cast iron is much heavier than white. It is enough that the bottom is made of cast iron and thick, and the sides can be simpler.

The ceramic pan is black with a light speck all over the surface. High-quality ceramics are expensive, up to 2-3 thousand rubles per piece (frying pan).

My Berghoff, bought long ago, has plastic handles with a metal cuff at the point of attachment to the walls of the pots. Were on sale with metal ones, but then I took the plastic - all the time I forget to take the potholder.

Now I am replacing Berghoff with other pans with metal bar handles (thin) and they just do not heat up. Rather, they heat up, but to a normally warm state. It is not possible to get burned.
foxtrader
A strange thing. I have a set of Winser. Handles with plastic inserts. So there is not even a hint of heating. Although my cooker is induction. So it seems like before, on ordinary pancakes they did not warm themselves.
And now almost any stainless steel has 18/10 steel.
Zest
As for the BergHoff pans-cauldrons, then I have 32 cm, 6.4 liters. I am very satisfied. Nothing burns, it browns remarkably.
The bottom is wide, everything is evenly distributed, not steamed, as in a high-walled cauldron. At the moment, this cauldron is a significant limiting factor in buying the Tefal master pilaf. Well, I can do almost everything in it. Until I convinced myself that I also need a master

Those who have stainless steel dishes, look pliz on it somewhere there is an embossed stamp like "STAINLESS STEEL" (steel) or maybe it has a test of 18/10? I was told that there must be a stamp on a truly stainless steel. Just remember in Soviet times on all such dishes there was a brand "NERZH". Yes, and now there is - I just took, not so long ago, bought either an Italian or a German terochka in METRO, and on its side there is such a stamp "STAINLESS STEEL" squeezed out. And indeed I have been using it for three months now and there is no hint of rust even close !!!! (y) And when I bought a grater, Duc stood next to it, well, a very similar to it Chinese Toko with a show-off, it was also written in stainless steel, BUT without such a stigma. We took three pieces with a stamp - and it paid off! (everyone who got a gift is happy!)

So I think on the dishes, too, there must be a similar brand, but do you have one?

It was not enough for me Berghoff and Zepter, so I recently looked at two pans from GIPFEL (Germany), and also at the bottom there are different icons and many, and also STAINLESS STEEL 18-10, plus SUPER CAPSULE BOTTON, and a lot more has been written. But after boiling water in it only once, the pan inside is covered with lilac stains and does not want to wash.
And the Zepter (again you will scold me for this word) has been plowing for many years in different conditions both at home and in the country, and there is no hint that this steel 18/10 is missing something. We washed, cleaned (even with strong means and a grease remover) and again shine and delight everyone with our appearance.
Zepter and Berghoff, when selling, also apply a steel quality certificate with a guarantee of use throughout the life (operation) of metal dishes.

And the combination of the words STAINLESS STEEL 18-10 can be put on Chinese dishes and on all the others. If a manufacturer saves money on product registration, he will not deliver, he wants to sell at a profit, invest money and deliver.
Sometimes you look at the forks and spoons, they look so shabby and gray, and the inscription is proud - stainless steel!

See and judge for yourself!

Admin, of course, you can write anything and anywhere. But if you don't have a fake gipfel, then this is a VERY high quality dish.
The stains, as I already wrote, are removed within 1 second with a few drops of lemon juice !!!!!!!!!
These stains are NOT an indicator of the poor quality of the stainless steel.

Unfortunately, nothing can be removed from these stains - and the bottom and walls are covered with all the colors of the rainbow, like spilled gasoline on water, this is already a metal defect.
Whether this is a real gipfel or not - I can't judge, I kind of bought it in a special store.

I have been using Zepter for 8 years, Bergoff for 6 years. The zepter is simply an indestructible dish, there is still a difference from Bergof - the zepter keeps heat longer, ideal for cereals, and other dishes where products need to "reach". I just bring the porridge to a boil and turn it off. But I still want a slow cooker
The Zepter pan is not suitable for frying, like any other uncoated stainless steel, but it is ideal to cook vegetable stews, caviar, etc. in it.
I have two pans - Tefal (for omelettes) and Rondell, there is some kind of super-resistant coating, something with a stone. I really like it - everything fries amazingly, does not burn, does not stick.
There are also two pancake pans - Tefal and a new cast-iron one, bought recently for 84 UAH.Tefal is just resting, I want to buy another such cast iron
There is a favorite pot-type pot made of ceramics - a cool thing, pilaf is excellent in it.
And I also bought a small Turkish ladle made of ceramics for about 400 ml, so that I could cook my soup soup - a super thing!
And recently my mother gave me a Bergoff ladle for 1 liter, from the new collection - heavy, guard, but prepares The heat keeps about like a Zepter, so Bergoff "respect and respect" for the combination of price and quality.
In general, it turns out from "dangerous" - I have Teflon pans, although I do not cook on them often.

About the Chinese dishes. It was about 10 years ago. We moved to a separate apartment, we didn't have much of our dishes - we went to the Chinese market. And they bought a ladle of stainless steel - to cook porridge ... Until now, this very ladle lives, it does not become stained, more than once gelatin and sugar syrup burned to it ... rubbed, washed - and nothing, that's how it was - Chinese tableware

Now I won't dare to buy on the market ...

I want to write about Chinese dishes. I live in that Blagoveshchensk, where the Chinese city of Heikhe is across the river. Almost all our products are Chinese. Dishes in bulk whatever you want, and it looks like one-on-one in real trade marks. Whoever took it knows: then either everything ALWAYS burns, or the handles fall off, etc., etc. I'm generally silent about the appearance. Glass, porcelain and the like curve, made tyap-nap. Enamelled is also disgusting: it instantly burns, you can't wash it off. I generally keep quiet about the composition ... What's worse is that we have all the vegetables, fruits, meat, etc., everything is Chinese. Most often there is no taste, and the size is either normal or completely mutants (terribly huge). I bought myself Russian dishes made of 18/10 steel. But the food has to be eaten, although it is clear that they are stuffed with no one knows what. Although it is known ... The Chinese fertilize everything with feces ... People from poor villages buy Chinese dishes - and they are all beggars. Of course, for the price it is very affordable. Vegetables and fruits, only Chinese meat are affordable. Demand creates supply ...
So I wish you non-Chinese products and stuff ...

Usually, 99% of such manufacturers do not care if they have a brand on their products. This is an expensive pleasure, why spend money if there are VERY few consumers who look at the brand, certificate, date and expiration date on the products. For many, the cheaper the better - why overpay money if it is "the same".

And I would like to know what a good pot. Is it possible to figure it out in today's cast iron? I know one thing for myself - you have to buy one first and try how you will be lucky (otherwise some subjects buy in sets, and then regret the thrown away money!).Then I will buy only in a hardware store (such dinosaurs from the union have survived to us, I think there are a couple more in any city), but what would such a factory paper be in a frying pan with a "seal" like, and with instructions on how to "fry" it first time. And what would be Russian - they say good. The main thing is that the factory was.
