Ingredients

Dried apricotshandful
Yogurt0,5 l

Cooking method

  • Pour boiling water over a generous handful of dried apricots, drain the water. Put dried apricots into a deep cup (like a salad bowl) and pour a half-liter pack of any yogurt, preferably with apricot flavor. Put in the refrigerator overnight. This. unlike the brand of yoghurt, it is very important. The ingredients should "get married" overnight, that is, almost all of the yogurt will be absorbed into the dried apricots, it will soften and swell. Its excessive sweetness is compensated by all sorts of sour milk.
  • That's all. Fill in the evening, and let it stand on the table the whole next day.

Note

I will allow myself to offer you, dear forum users, a very pleasant and healthy dessert.

And with tea, my pets drink (!!!), and chew near the TV set. Very tasty, believe me! I was treated to a very decent guest, so I did not immediately understand, what is it? And in appearance. and the taste is very unusual. And delicious. And also, sorry for the physiological details, it is USEFUL for the stomach and the body as a whole. The two ingredients separately do not need comments (which is useful), but together they work very well.
Try it, I advise everyone.

Cake, please tell me, is "Activia" with dried apricots suitable for drinking? Or do you need a thinner yogurt? And then "Activia", although it is drinking, is still quite thick ...
Cake
Whatever yogurt you like, pour it on your health! Even thick dried apricots will absorb overnight!
Tell us later, what happened, okay?

What a useful invention for dieters. And then dry dried apricots somehow do not chew. Just three in one - yogurt for the stomach, dried apricots - for the heart and kidneys, and most importantly, not high in calories and insanely useful! Thanks, we'll try the recipe today!
Cubic
Today I poured dried apricots with yogurt, tomorrow I will try !!!! Thanks for the idea!! I thought, maybe you can also prunes?
Crochet
Yesterday I poured dried apricots with "Activia" with dried apricots for the night, and in another bowl I poured prunes - "Activia" with prunes ("Activia" - drinking). And today ... -and the truth is, yoghurt has been absorbed into dried fruits (I doubted at first), and what a tasty treat! The fact is that I equally adore both yogurt and dried fruits ... and here it is 2 in 1, it's just some kind of holiday ... I highly recommend it to all lovers of yoghurt and dried fruits! Cake, thank you so much for such an easy to prepare and delicious recipe! And how did I not think of this before?
Cake
Wow ..... How could I not have guessed to pour prunes with yogurt ??? !!! Dried apricots are cracking a race, but prunes .... I'll look at him in the store and go on ... Well, not a fool ?! And there is plenty of activity with prune in the dairy department!
Girls, and thank you for finalizing my recipe !!!
Crochet
Today I went even further (in terms of experiments). For the night I poured dried apples (rings), all the same "Activia", but this time with apple and cereals, of course drinking ... Tomorrow I'll tell you what happened.
Crochet
Girls, apples in yogurt turned out, well, just ...! The apple rings grew so much overnight that I did not immediately recognize them. I will soon use up all my stock of dried fruits at such a rate ... But it’s so tasty that I don’t mind any stocks, I’ll still make, that is, a stock ...
Nat_ka
She put in a yogurt maker. The finished yoghurt will be around 21.00. I just thought, wouldn’t anything happen if I pour dried apricots with the freshest yogurt?
Katyushka
I think it will only be tastier and more tender.
Cake
As the author of the recipe, it seems to me that the trick is that sugary-sweet dried apricots are poured with yogurt, which has a certain acidity (within the normal range, of course!) And the "freshest yogurt" - is it sour? Or just thick? Honestly, I never did it in a yogurt maker, but by simply fermenting village milk with a pack of kefir on the stove, I got a barely sour product, thick and fffffkuss; D its "side effect" ceased. Although, many people suffer from constipation and find salvation in this. But if such "yogurt-light" is poured into prunes (which also weakens!) ... It's better to experiment on the night of the weekend.
fugaska
I tried it - an excellent dish !!! I made only half a liter for testing and very quickly regretted it. Yesterday I already made two half a liter, I will eat this yummy at work. the only personal observation is that it is better if the dried apricots are drier. then in the process of "friendship" it will be more saturated, and the yogurt will be thicker. By the way, my experience began with peach yogurt, and continued with pineapple and strawberry (well, I couldn't find apricot), in general, the result is excellent anyway!
great recipe !!! thanks to the author !!!

I want to say a big thank you to Tortyzhka for the recipe! My conservative mother made dried apricots with Activia today and said that it was very tasty and now she will eat them just like that! I can't try it myself, I'm sitting on the intensive "Sybarit".

Greetings, colleague: DI think if you try one thing, nothing terrible will happen (you can replace a little portion of the cocktail (fruit and yogurt)
Katyushka
I just bought dried apricots and prunes, and I also saw cherries in syrup (although there was no syrup in it, so dried cherries but probably very sweet) sorry there was not enough money, otherwise I would have tried
Alexandra
Arina, Celestine, fellow Sybarians

Dried apricots and prunes can sometimes be used instead of fresh fruit in a cocktail.
So, I agree with Celestina.
Maybe just with homemade zero yoghurt instead of a cocktail just once?

Celestina, by the way, I want to boast: on the supporting one, somehow imperceptibly, another 3 kg have gone ... and this is with the removal of samples from all my experimental breads

And really you can try for your first breakfast when you still don't feel like eating, but you need to.

Fresh yogurt is thick and, one might say, tasteless. Dried apricots turned out in it
THANKS for the recipe!
Celestine
Today I put fresh yogurt (I rarely do sybarite) I will soak dried apricots (it is almost stone for me) I hope it will soak
By the way, on the supporting one (with rolls and bread in reasonable quantities) - 3 kg more

Arina, on Intensive Sibarit you can eat 3-4 dried apricots along with yogurt! So try it!

Girls! It’s very, very pleasant that my "titanic work" was appreciated! For me, this recipe was interesting primarily for its lightning speed. Now I also pour any dried fruit with any yogurt and get a wonderful breakfast (or dinner)
Now I'm thinking, shouldn't I buy a yogurt maker for this business?
Qween
Cake , thanks for the recipe!

The yoghurt maker worked all weekend without stopping.
By advice fugaska I chose dried apricots drier. Made according to the main recipe, and with the addition of raisins. Last time I fermented the yoghurt with a spoonful of thick storey peach and passionfruit yoghurt. A very suitable combination.

Deliciously delicious!

Thank you, read it, very interesting. We must understand and try. Only I don't like cottage cheese, how does this cocktail taste?

I don't like cottage cheese either, but when it squeezed ... I liked the cocktail with a pear. It seems to me that the pear softens and masks the taste of cottage cheese. I make soft cottage cheese with kefir and I really liked 0% French cottage cheese in a plastic box. I bought it in Auchan.

By the way, I tried to pour dried apricots with cottage cheese / kefir, it didn't work out very well - cottage cheese by itself, dried apricots by themselves. Then I tried it with zero yogurt, it turned out better, but also, I think, not ideal. True, I had a beautiful dried apricot, apparently processed, I will have to buy a dry real one.
Alexandra
Cottage cheese turns out to have an absolutely neutral taste if you make it yourself from 0% kefir (pour it into a sieve on a double layer of paper towels overnight)
Very pleasant taste with persimmon or persimmon in combination with any other fruit, it jellies, with prunes, any frozen berries - whipped together with cottage cheese, form a type of fruit sorbet. You can add a teaspoon of cocoa - especially delicious with ice cream (or fresh) cherries, right on the Black Forest cake

Oh, it's time to create a separate topic for losing weight. It will be very important, otherwise all the baked goods are so tasty that they don't have the strength not to eat.
How much cottage cheese is obtained from a liter of kefir?
Is there a feeling of weakness on such a diet? Is your overall tone and activity going down? (for me this is very important, because I am a tennis coach and I stand on the court for six hours)
Does your head hurt?
fugaska
one more observation: if you leave yogurt with dried apricots for a couple of days in the refrigerator, then you will get awesome fluffy and juicy dried apricots, almost like apricots !!! and the yogurt will be thicker !!!
Alexandra
Fugaska,

On the second day, I also did a great job with low-fat kefir.

There is no weakness, but on the site Lose weight. ru even read that vigor and amorous desires are increasing, especially among former overfed men, and of women too

I am at work from 7.30 to 19 - 20 pm, I cannot tone my tone in any way. It's okay with that. The only thing is, I drink vitamins Alphabet Diet, but now, in the spring, it's not bad for everyone and in any case.

I get cottage cheese about 850 - 1000 g from 5 half-liter bags of Ostankino 0% kefir, that is, from 2.5 liters. And the rest is a valuable serum for okroshka, sourdough and baking, washing, hair masks, etc. Nothing is lost.

Now I mainly bake bread from coarse flour with bran, without sugar and oil, with leaven without yeast. In moderation, that's it!

And in more detail about the technology "yogurt cottage cheese" can you?
Did I understand correctly - without heat treatment?
Alexandra
Yes, that's right.
Simply pour the kefir over 2 layers of paper tea towels, placed in a colander or strainer placed in a saucepan. Without heating. Leave on the window or better yet in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning - ready tender non-acidic cottage cheese and whey are ready.
Crochet
Today I also decided to make cottage cheese from kefir. That's just in the evening and put it. I'll try tomorrow. Kefir took "Ostankinsky-bio 0%". In my opinion, a delicious curd should turn out, and most importantly, it is very easy to prepare. Thank you, Alexandra.
And your idea is simple !!!

Experimental results:
Your own yogurt (homemade) plus dried apples (also your own, and Antonovka) - super! and if you add raisins, it's generally yummy.
Its own ryazhenka and dried apricots are very tasty.
fermented baked milk or yogurt and dried (dried) melon (I harvest in the dryer in the fall) - very tasty.
I tried to add a handful (130 grams of yogurt) of 4 types of cereal flakes plus dried fruits - for the child - the little one really liked it, like cold porridge, but more interesting and most importantly more varied.
Thank you very much for giving us this recipe.

I read you, and decided to also try dried apricots in yogurt. I liked it very tasty! I decided not to stop, I saw a dried banana in the store (I think it will turn out yummy). I come home pouring, the next day, in the morning I think I will eat, I tried it !!! I had to pour it all out, nobody began to eat.

So jerky or is it dried (banana chips) ?!

I also experimented with a banana, I didn’t like it, I had to feed my husband (don’t give it good). I took jerky bananas.

Do not even bother with chips, it will be the same ...
DJ
Yes, there were banana chips (but I only noticed this when I threw away the packaging), it might work better with other bananas.
I again made yogurt in dried apricots, only tore dried apricots into slices, and they were more saturated (just like fresh ones !!!)

Excuse me. I didn’t think about it. I’m all somehow about confectionery, but about confectionery ...
Dried apricots are different, both sour and sweet. Yogurt too. Therefore, in general, I cannot say. Try both separately. As a result of combining two products, they do not become sour.
Mistress, with kefir, of course, is healthier. But yogurt tastes better

So I hope that with the help of dried apricots I can force myself to eat healthy kefir
