Multicooker Polaris PMC 0523AD

The high-tech multicooker Polaris PMC 0523ad is an excellent solution for a family. The device has a unique program "Multipovar Plus", which has no analogues on the market. She easily prepares dishes that require complex heat treatment. For any recipe, this function allows you to create an optimal stepped temperature-time regime - from 1 to 9 cooking stages, the transition through which occurs sequentially. The temperature and duration of each stage are set separately.

In addition, the Polaris PMC 0523ad multicooker is equipped with 23 automatic programs. Each of them provides a "Delayed start" function for up to 24 hours. It uses 3D heating technology for cooking. Removable 5 liter bowl with non-stick and antibacterial ceramic coating. There are small handles on the bowl, by which you can safely reach the hot container and not get burned. The multicooker Polaris PMC 0523ad is equipped with auto-heating cancellation, touch control on the lid and a three-color screen backlight that changes when the device is in operation. The Polaris PMC 0523ad multicooker comes with a standard set of accessories and a yogurt maker, as well as a recipe book from the author of the Royal Diet project, Margarita Koroleva.

Hello, I'm new (I have been reading the forum for a long time, my hands did not get to register). I decided, maybe someone will be useful to review the new multicooker Polaris PMC 0523AD. I left another review on the Yandex market, but I'm not sure what they will publish.

In general, I watched the multicooker for a very long time, since the mother most often cooks at home, and she is already at an age and standing at the stove in steam and in the heat is hard. Therefore, I chose for her well and for the whole family at the same time. I was inclined to both the supra and the redmond and persuaded me to take phillips, and some other. As a result, I saw a novelty from Polaris, did not find reviews on it, and went to Eldorado to see what kind of animal it was. I examined it, listened to the praise of the seller, I liked it, and I took it at my own peril and risk.
I'll start with the advantages: Not very heavy (it seems to me so, in any case, I'm used to carrying weights =)), there is a handle, you can carry it, take it with you in the car. The average volume, as for me, is quite compact, I put it on the shelf in the cabinet, it fits normally next to the rest of the equipment. The bowl is ceramic, with handles, portable, inside the cheerful color of light ryazhenka, easy to clean. You open the multicooker and the eye rejoices) Good lighting, everyone has vision problems, so it would be inconvenient without lighting (the font is too small). When you turn it on, the backlight is orange, when cooking, it is bright green, when heated, it is the color of cherry juice (It's fun!: D. Although for an amateur, it will probably annoy someone). The heating works with a bang, there were no problems with cooking either. Nothing burned out yet, although we have been using it for only a week, however, not all modes have had time to try. There was no plastic smell. Includes two silicone spoons, a steamer, multi-glasses, a condensation container, two recipe books. It works quietly, does not hum, does not make noise, beeps normally. And just do, sometimes it seems that there is a living intelligent being nearby. It's kind of warm))) Unlike many touched ones)
Disadvantages: No choice in the menu and clock-forward-backward. That is, if you miss with the desired mode, you need to click all 23 programs until you return to the desired one. As well as with the clock. With a long cooking - the condensate collector overflows, it is necessary to pour it out, otherwise it will pour on the table (well, it's true from 2-3 hours somewhere.) It heats up rather slowly in the multi-cook mode, well, or we haven't figured it out yet .. at a temperature of 160 it heats up in 10 minutes is good if up to 100 degrees. When frying, it heats up in 3-4 minutes.
I was very surprised that the bowl was declared EVERYWHERE, well, everywhere - 5 liters, and on it engraved 1.8 liters. In general, we are not enough for three adults, plus a 7-year-old child. The soup has to be cooked twice and poured into a 5 liter saucepan. For every day there is simply not enough time to cook a bowl of soup. Cooks quite slowly, turkey cutlets with thyme three servings (6 small cutlets fit), for a total of 10 hour-hour in frying mode (20 -22 minutes per serving). But very tasty, dare everything in a day. Plus, when the lid is open, the menu is not visible, you need to turn it towards you.
Another drawback is that in many recipes (including cutlets) it is written to cook in baking mode for 10-15 minutes. Here the maximum mode is from half an hour, we use the frying mode instead. We tried it in Multipovar, in 15 minutes they didn't even brown at 160 degrees. (Mb, they did something wrong)
And somewhere someone complained that in some Polaris model it squeaks all the time during frying mode. It also squeaks here, but exactly once, after a minute of cooking. How the timer bell sounds. The socket is connected directly to the meter in the entrance, so I don't know what the matter is.
I didn't notice any minuses anymore, so for its price it's an excellent supercar.
We tried to make buckwheat porridge, it turned out to be crumbly, tasty porridge, I, perhaps, will do worse on the stove))) The soup also came out delicious.) The meat pie was reduced in two hours, but I had to cook it again in the frying mode. we are not very friendly with baked goods yet.) But in general, everyone is very happy. No noise, no steam, no hellish heat, nothing burns, buzz)
Oh yes, I liked the recipes stated in the books, but many are very tricky) For example, most sweet recipes require rose petals and coconut milk)))) + some tricky cheese)
In the evening I will take photos live, I will show this miracle Yudo)

I looked at her the same, but only in the announcement on the official website. I did not know that they were already on sale. There are a lot of programs in appearance. How do you like the function of multipovar plus? They cooked milk, how does it not run away? And tell me about the price, how much did they take?
Kervian
I apologize for the delay)

I took it for 6,000 rubles.) By the way, at the moment we don't have them already, I went in yesterday, they all sold out.
We did not use the multi-cook plus, I tried it, and until I figured out how to set the temperature levels. An ordinary multi-cook suffers from a slow warming up.) The milk did not run away, however, I greased the bowl with butter. Boiled oatmeal (Nordic 4 cereals), and rice with milk. Although with large portions I do not know how it will be. I cook mostly porridge with milk for my daughter, and sometimes for myself, with the others, except for oatmeal, all other porridge with milk are not popular.)
And yes, there was a problem with the frying timer, I read reviews on the websites, I realized that many multi Polaris suffer from the timer freezing in the frying mode. It also froze, sometimes, for unknown reasons, it calmly counts down the time, sometimes it just stands in one place and that's it. But I got used to the wristwatch just to measure the time, it's a pity to take it back only because of the timer failures. Now I'll post pictures, however, sorry, I'm crooked and a tablet with 2 megapixels, I could not normally catch it in size.

So, first, the pictures of the multicooker itself.
Menu. Sorry for the look, they managed to slightly sprinkle flour during the cooking process.

The day before yesterday we cooked pork for stewing with potatoes.

Initially, ribs were written in the recipe found on the Internet, but there were no ribs, I bought 1 kg of pork for stewing.
For the recipe you need:
1 kg braised pork
12 potatoes
1 medium carrot
1 medium onion
Salt (I use 12 vegetables and herbs)
Ground black pepper (to taste, sprinkle with a pinch)
Cumin (also sprinkle to your liking)
Ground thyme (to your taste)

So. We take pork for stewing, wash it, if the pieces are large, cut into smaller ones, you can use thick strips. We turn on the multicooker. We see a light yellow highlight of the menu. Open it, grease the bowl with oil (I take olive oil), put the meat exactly in the bowl, add 1-2 tablespoons of oil.
Multicooker Polaris PMC 0523AD
Multicooker Polaris PMC 0523AD
Set for 15 minutes for frying, turn over, set for another 15 minutes. We see a fun green cooking menu.
Multicooker Polaris PMC 0523AD
after which we see ready-made tasty meat, it is still slightly tough, but it will be extinguished later. Add 1 onion, chopped into cubes, fry for 5 minutes in frying mode. Then we throw the carrot shabby on a coarse grater there (I had a fine grater, but it turned out well). fry for another 5 minutes.

We cut the potatoes into large cubes, throw them on top, sprinkle with salt, pepper, herbs, mix everything together with the meat, it will be good if the meat is in the middle. Add 4 multi-glasses of hot water. (I poured 5, it seemed to me a little) We put on baking for 50 minutes and then heat for another 10 minutes (I advise you to open the lid after the end of the work, and if the potatoes are suddenly not ready, put them on for another 15 minutes for frying mode with the lid open (if the timer has turned off, note the time by the clock)
Multicooker Polaris PMC 0523AD

Unfortunately, I could not take a picture of the ready-made dish, they ate it before I had time to get to the tablet.) In total, it turned out for 5-6 servings. (Taking into account the fact that my older brother eats, hmm, like an elephant, full of plates)
It tasted like a funky stew with the most tender meat. Even a very fastidious daughter usually swept everything in 5 minutes.) Fresh white bread goes well with the garnish, as well as green peas or a Transcarpathian snack with vegetables.

Yesterday I cooked French fries with turkey.
The recipe was written chicken, I took the turkey.
For cooking you need:
500 g turkey.
1 kg of potatoes (I got 15-16 medium and small potatoes)
200 g of hard cheese. (I had a piece of gouda, it went fine)
Mayonnaise (I took Sloboda on quail eggs, 67%)
1 medium onion
Salt (12 vegetables and herbs)
Ground black pepper (to taste)
Italian herbs (spice mix) (to taste)
Dill (fresh)

We take the turkey, cut it into thin strips, salt, pepper, grease the bowl with oil, add 3 tablespoons of olive oil on top. We spread the meat in an even layer, close the cartoon, leave it to soak. While we cut the onion into cubes. Then sprinkle the meat on top.

Cut the potatoes into thin strips, fold them on top of the onions. Salt, pepper, sprinkle with Italian herbs to taste. We close the cartoon, let it brew-soak for 5-10 minutes. Three cheese on a coarse grater (I rub it on a fine grater again =)). We put the cheese aside, take the mayonnaise, open it with a cartoon, and cover it with a thick layer, after which we mix it so that it gets on the meat too, but so that the meat does not run away from the bottom. I pushed the potatoes aside with a spoon, watered them lightly, smeared them over, and returned the potatoes to their place. Then, in an even layer, so that all the potatoes are covered, pour the shabby cheese. No need to stir!

We put on the baking mode for an hour (taking into account 10 minutes for heating, add after that 10 minutes more in the frying mode, and 10 minutes in the heating mode)
Then we open the lid, enjoy the awesome smell, and pour finely chopped dill on top. We stir, and leave the multicooker off for 5 minutes to soak. Voila, you can eat. Again, we ate everything in the evening.) The only thing, I put another 30 minutes for baking at one o'clock, and it turned out to be too much, the meat was slightly overcooked, so an hour 10 would be better. ...

By the way, we also tried the tincture mode, prepared a broth of rose hips from the recipe specified in the attached book.) Nothing escaped, and it turned out awesome, I just couldn't take a picture.) Today I will still cook Portuguese green soup from the recipe in the book, and the recipe from the Internet - baked apples with rice and raisins.) At the same time, we will try the stewing mode)

How many delicious treats have been prepared !!!!

How does this mode work? And with the frying function, you just need to wait for the bowl empty or with oil to warm up to the operating temperature and place the food after the timer starts counting down, if you put it on before the countdown does not start.

I wash the heating element with Sif cream, put it on a damp sponge and wipe it, and then wipe it dry. When you cook, it is not always possible to trace whether you put the bowl in a clean place. Stains remain from the damp bottom of the bowl, from small debris that accidentally falls on the heating element.

Tell me, pliz, what is the step of the multi-cook?
galka_exito
step 5 degrees. temperature from 40 to 160 g on a multi-cook. on deep fat can be increased to 180 degrees, but only for 15 minutes.
but in general a cool cartoon, I like
tuskarora
Galina, tell me what you took and where, if not a secret of course. I'm all thinking about the acquisition. (if I had been at home and not in a sanatorium I would have probably ordered it at Comfi). And another question - have you already tried the "Bread" program?
galka_exito
Yes, in the same Komfi and took (in the online store only) for 888 UAH.

I'll copy my review from another forum: "I decided to share my first impression of the multicooker - I'm very pleased. I like the multi-cook with a really supported temperature step of 5 degrees (not 10 as in many cartoons), a set of programs - I still haven't had time to test. $ 100, I think the purchase is more than justified.I like yogurt - very good (in other cartoons it didn’t work) .took yokok sourdough, a liter of pasteurized milk 2.5 or 3.2 percent straight from the refrigerator, stir well, pour into glasses, put in a bowl, pour warm water.prog yogurt - the first time it was cooked in my opinion in 5 hours, then in 3 hours and in the refrigerator.I cook every day.
I made meat like sous-vide: 1st time beef 65 degrees 4 hours - good, but not great (I'll still play with time and temperature), 2nd time - pork (a piece of flank about a kg) 70 degrees 2 hours - excellent.
I also like rice. I take 1.5 multi-glasses of rice, pour 2.7 cups of water (well, incomplete 3), a little oil, salt and the default cereal mode. after 20-25 minutes it goes into heating. I have ordinary round rice by weight.
baked vanilla biscuit in boiling water (for 4 eggs) - 1st time on baking 50 minutes, 2nd time - multi-cook mode 110 degrees 1 hour + 10 minutes stood on heating (I forgot about it). I liked it more on the multi-cooker - it turned out to be taller and fluffy (6 cm high from 4 eggs - I'm mega happy) and the crust is very tender.
in multi-cook mode - the countdown starts immediately, it suits me. "

I personally did not bake bread myself - I will not say anything, but others praise it.
tuskarora
Thank you! I read this review. A very interesting model however. Still attracts 0519 choose between these two models. There will be help for my Panasik 18 and Polaris 0205.
LudaMila
Everyone extinguished today ((and nothing boiled ((only heating ((
the rest of the programs worked perfectly (milk porridge, oatmeal, and I don't remember something else)
so it didn't boil, put it on the oatmeal and then everything boiled and came to normal
galka_exito
good evening, you know - did not notice. in general, as I understood from the instructions and the recipe book, the temperature of 93 degrees is near boiling, that is, the quenching is inactive. everywhere it is recommended to fry first, then simmer.
I'm now a fan of the languor mode .. I put buckwheat porridge for the night - it turns out yummy.
I also remembered, you can press the delayed start during the cooking process (when the green screen), it will show the real temperature of the lower heater; pressing the multi cook shows the temperature of the upper heater.
if it is interesting, you can watch the extinguishing regime))

Answering the question about bread at 0523.
I baked rye bread for two days in a row - it turns out very well. the first one was generally cured as soon as it cooled down. and today we are already eating up - this despite the fact that we are not grain souls))
I baked the bread completely with rye without a special recipe - I mixed the ingredients by eye in a food processor, put them into the MV bowl - on the bread mode. the proofing time set the maximum two and a half hours (all the time I monitored the temperature of 30-36 degrees), the baking time set the temperature for one and a half hours (next time I will reduce to 140 and increase the time). then she turned it over and baked the top for another 30 minutes on baking. the weight of the finished bread was about 900 grams.
the bread, of course, turned out very tasty and baked perfectly, but there are a lot of body movements (compared to a bread maker)
Alex30
Good day to everyone :) I've been picking up the multicooker for a long time. At first I wanted to buy a pressure cooker (liberty mr-90), I read a lot of good things and caught fire, thanks to which I registered here, but it’s somehow scary to leave the device unattended under pressure, but I have to, and on the forum they advised to look at the cartoon in polaris, because. they are not very good. expensive and more programs
I liked Redmond very much, I had already decided (although I read reviews on Russian sites), and when I went to Ukrainian, I was horrified by the prices that are an order of magnitude higher than in Russia translated into hryvnia. I've been sitting for a week, and finally found this forum !!! all I need is in this model!
Girls, are VERY interested in questions:
1) is it possible to cook small portions for a 1.5 year old child in this cartoon! If so, how? exactly one portion of milk porridge or stew, or stewed meat with vegetables, for example, 200 grams, no more!
2) Something about the volume of the bowl is not entirely clear to me, I just wanted not 5 liters, but less, but in this model, how many liters can you cook soup, for example? I need 2 adults and a child. And then everywhere they write 5 liters, but here they wrote 1.8 liters.
3) I am also interested in baking. There were so many emotions from baking in the liberty, straight loaves, not biscuits, so tall and lush, but in our model that it doesn't work out, bakes badly or what?
4) and the last in the shortcomings, I write about the fact that there is no off button, and you have to disconnect from the network, but do other models even have such a button? I also read that they buy some kind of special cord with a switch, and this problem is solved. Can I replace the cord for this model?
Thanks in advance, to everyone who will respond and dispel all doubts, and I will finally buy myself a wonderful present for D.R. :)
LudaMila
Alex30The switch is an adapter with a switch I like and cook small and large portions until I bake.
A saucepan for 5 liters! I am delighted with her
tuskarora
Alex30, 5 liters is to the eyeballs. In general, in all 5-liter cartoons, the useful volume is about 3.5 liters. 1.8 is not in liters but in some other measurement system. As for the very small volumes, the girls, I remember, somehow contrived to put portion pots and other containers in a cartoon or a pressure cooker. I have a 5 liter cartoon and a 5 liter pressure cooker. Family - 4 people. enough and not for one day.

4) and the last in the shortcomings I write about the fact that there is no off button
I will try to answer. so, in order:
1. You can cook portions of any size. it is 1 serving of porridge or omelet that can be steamed in a plate or mold, for example. But here, keep in mind that the cartoon is floating, so it is better to push it out from under the upper cabinets or put it under the hood (it is more convenient to steam in a pressure cooker, less steam), you can also cook right in the bowl - the milk porridge program is good ..
2.but if it is about the soup, then you can cook about 3.5 - 4 liters, only time I think it will be necessary to add - 1.20 or 1.30
3. the baking is good, I like it. it was the biscuit that baked on a multi-cooker of 110 degrees - excellent.
4. there is a cancel \ heating button. you can completely turn off only from the network, or with a cord with a switch. but in standby mode, the cartoon consumes about 1 W and glows coolly orange, I do not turn it off, I use it instead of a night light))) and very often I cook at night on languor or with a delay in the morning, or yogurt.

Alex30, you know, my child is a little more than two and in this cartoon I constantly cook yoghurts, cereals, supiki - the child eats)) (this is what about the child - soon you will begin to prepare normal portions of food)
I tried out the technology of su vid. help, of course, very good
Alex30
Thank you very much to everyone who responded and answered: At the expense of the off button. and volume, it became clear to me, in principle, more than 2 liters and do not need for the first course :)) and the answer about baking pleased))) ALL ATP!
Yesterday I sat down to read the reviews and again doubts overcame ((((I began to doubt the design, everything is black, I wanted to be lighter, more practical, but there are no other colors yet, the most worried about the touch-sensitive panel on the lid
They write:
1)) o inconvenient positioning of the panel -on the lid itself, that you have to somehow unfold it (MV) and manage to look at the display while it is working with the lid open. And immediately a parallel question arose,
2)) but how to remove and wash the lid from the inside from grease and foam, etc. under the tap, if there is a panel on it? (I have only heard a lot about CF, I cannot objectively assess the possibility and necessity of thoroughly washing the lid and generally caring for it), and that fingerprints are very visible on the stylish lid, rubbing it every day is probably not very practical?
3)) many write that it heats up for a very long time and generally cooks for a long time. (((Again, I have nothing to compare with.
4)) And about the bowl, the reviews are not very good, that over time, ceramic. the spraying is scratched and starts to burn, by the way, and in Ukraine they sell extra. bowls? where and how much do they cost?
5)) the recipe book seems to be not always available in the kit and the recipes there are not quite for our brother and the instructions are not finalized, not updated ((

Already upset, and the price is right. up to 1000 UAH, and turning off the auto-heating at the beginning of cooking is very important for me, in principle everything was fine, but here ON you, doubt for another week !!
6)) I was very surprised that the -0517AD model is EXPENSIVE, all this is suspicious, after all, a new model, maybe something has not yet been fully finalized and it is worth taking the proven -0517AD, or Redmond 4502 (I first stopped at it, but it more expensive by 50% (((()
Girls, do not consider it arrogance and boring, but respond, who has experience with other CF, these are all shortcomings or nit-picking already
I still want to cook and rejoice, and not scratch the panel from prints and dust and revolves around MV in anticipation of a miracle that she has finally prepared a very LONG-awaited dinner !!!
Thank you ALL in advance!
LudaMila
Alex30, I trained on the -0517AD model for about a month (they gave it a try), at first it all spat, because it turned out only porridge!, but .. having rummaged through the instructions, I began to master other programs and was already on fire to buy the same one!
In the store I saw a new model and I liked it more, it was more, and the saucepan and programs (the location on the lid was confusing) wait, I’m already used to it, I don’t have to bend over (I can see everything from above) with the lid open, I slightly cover the roof and look
although the old fashioned way is more convenient for me to fry something more convenient on the stove
pots with handles are a big plus!
By the way, they say that the bowls from Redmond fit her
remove and wash the lid from the inside from grease and foam
the inner cover of this model is removable!
heats up for a long time and generally cooks for a long time
did not see the difference
there are a lot of recipes here on the site
wipe the surface with a towel
Alex30
LudaMila, ATP to you.I will also clarify about the lid, which means before you open the lid and start cooking, you first need to set all the parameters and press, all that is needed?
LudaMila
Alex30, what for?? you already know what you are going to cook, so close the lid and click to the desired program
I have attached instructions for all the programs, a book of simple recipes, and also from Margarita Koroleva (for gourmets, i.e. stars * for whom such products are available, almost everything is cooked there)
Alex30
LudaMila "...I saw a new model in the store and I liked it more, it is more, and a saucepan and programs [/ shadow]. .. "
that is, is the bowl smaller in model 0517ad ?, and the MV itself is more compact !? Then it suits me more, probably, to be honest, outwardly I like 0517 more (well, in the picture, I haven't seen it live). But in 0523ad there will be more opportunities !!!
Alex30
LudaMila, "... with the lid open, I slightly cover the roof and look .." And why look at the panel during the frying process, if the program has already been set? I just can't understand, after all, the panel on the lid, how inconvenient is this !?
LudaMila
Alex30, everything is convenient for me!
galka_exito
Alex30, multicooker of the same volume, that 0517, that 0523 - in both bowls of 5 liters. about ceramics in the bowl, until it sticks (but I still use very little, only 1 month) Teflon spare wheels from Redmond are suitable for 229 UAH and from Polaris xylan plus 110 UAH (prices from 5ok), but they are without handles. or with PIP 3 handles from Polaris, but this is also ceramics at a price of about 200.
As for the cooking programs or possibilities, you think about what you will actually cook in it, and what modes of pampering for the sake of. For a whole month of owning this, I miraculously use the modes yogurt, mulpovar, soup, baked goods, cereals, frying, milk porridge, languor - these are the modes I require. I, of course, played with the modes - I prepared differently, but I will not use them every day. I want to note that in Polaris 0523 all modes are different, they do not duplicate each other. variety is good but not necessary. Honestly, I have never used a fashionable multi-cook (suddenly I will think of something later)
As for the controls, the controls on the lid are convenient for me, although it's a matter of habit. I'm calmer that a child cannot poke a button and accidentally turn on a cartoon - he does not reach yet. and the staff includes, there is control in front. but again, the cartoon can be removed further away.

but in general, buy what your heart is in and what you have enough money for))) still do not stop at one pan. and also, if you decide to take 0517, take the latest edition, there is a convenient feature to change the time and temperature during the program. at 0523 this is not, sometimes it is not enough. but I don’t need it, I don’t stand next to her.
galka_exito
yes, regarding the speed of cooking - longer than on gas, definitely. therefore, I actively use delayed start and auto-heating. on a gas stove - I have one - a light soup can be cooked in 20-25 minutes, in a multi in an hour, but richer. porridge is faster on gas, but it can run away or burn. an omelet in a frying pan is ready in 10 minutes, here in 25-30 ..
Understand that a multicooker does not cook faster, it requires less attention from the hostess. and develops planning skills)) that is, you laid the food for breakfast in the evening, then in the morning for lunch, etc. At the same time, in order to be tasty and healthy, you still need to prepare the food, peel, cut, fry ... To be honest, I didn't spend less time in the kitchen - maybe just a little bit, but I spend it there when it's convenient for me. and food became more varied and healthy. after all, the multi skate is stewed dishes, cereals, soups, stews ... fried is still better on the stove. but if you choose to stand at the stove for half an hour and fry 20 cutlets or stick a meatball in 15 minutes and put it in the cartoon for 40 minutes - I will choose the second one. (I’m already lazy to stand at the stove)
LudaMila
galka_exito, I only do frying on the stove, more often I use stewing
galka_exito
that's how we are all different)))) and I, so as not to wash the extra frying pan and the stove around the burner, I fry right away in a multicooker.
LudaMila, tell me plz how does the frying mode work for you? fries all the time intensely or not? I just noticed that on my frying 160 degrees, it fries only for the first couple of minutes, then very gently. check with yourself and unsubscribe, ok. that's just not sautéing in soup - it doesn't take much time there, but something more substantial - meat or potatoes.
I will wait for the result)
LudaMila
galka_exito, I do not fry in a cartoon because I can not say
galka_exito
It is clear, well, maybe someone else will test the frying mode - unsubscribe. I have already ordered a couple of pots - one Redmond 503, and one Polaris PIP 01. will arrive on Wednesday, I will try it - I will unsubscribe.
As for bread, I am unexpectedly baking it for the third time in a row. I didn’t succeed in such a black bread machine (although there may be a problem with the eye - there is no recipe as such, everything is by eye) I thought this time to reduce the baking temperature and increase the time, but it doesn’t work - the minimum temperature for baking bread is 150 degrees, so I bake bread according to the previous scenario: 2.5 hours of proofing + 1.5 hours of baking + turnover for baking 30 minutes.
About the frying, the technical engineer Polaris answered, so that she could fry the fry in oil on the program. I looked, you can really choose a temperature of 180 degrees - but I'll try it in Teflon, and I'll keep the ceramics.
Yesterday I measured the voltage in the network, it turned out to be reduced: instead of the required 220 - 190. Maybe this is the reason for weak frying ?! After all, all 860W pots cannot have good frying, but this one does not? I sin on the net.
Olenka82
About frying. What's on the Fry, what's on the Fry in oil, if you put it after heating, the temperature drops and rises very slowly, it turns out stewing, not frying
I found a way out, put 160 degrees on the Fry and without waiting for a signal, I spread the food about heating, then there is intense heating and frying. Something like this
galka_exito
ATP for the idea. I thought to adapt the multi-cook) I will definitely try.
it turns out that one minus still has this multi - incomprehensible algorithm of frying programs. hopefully this is the only feature. otherwise Polaris 0523 pleases me
Olenka82
For such a price it suits me too, BUT ... I bought this cartoon because my Redik is under repair (the button that opens the lid is broken). In the Field, the stewing mode is kept in the range of + - 90-95 degrees, and when adding ingredients during the cooking process, there is a doubt that food can go bad, because there is no re-boiling. And in Redik periodically gurgles.
About soup. In Redi, my soup never ran away, but here the valve puffed up I had to open and close the lid. It is too early to draw conclusions on one occasion, but ...
Bakery products. With the same power, Fields are more delicate in this + for me personally.
I tried Krupa from sensory programs. And here she is huge. + Rice, buckwheat and pasta are superb
Multi-cook +. I tried to extinguish it works well. I set 3 stages.
Bread. I didn’t bake bread, but set the dough to rise, temperature 32-35.
The condensate collector lives its own life
galka_exito
Olenka82, thanks for the honest review.
Well, when stewing, food is unlikely to deteriorate - after all, during languishing, for example, it never boils and dishes are cooked normally.
about the prog soup - it rather resembles Redik's stewing (as I understood from your comparison) it gurgles a little from time to time. I cook a viscous porridge in the soup mode (mostly wheat), a portion is slightly higher than the upper risk - nothing escapes, does not burn, but it gurgles weakly. I like this mode. and, of course, I cook soup / borscht in Soup, it turns out well, you can add ingredients, it boils periodically.
for baking. I bake mostly biscuits. So I liked the result more on a 110-degree multi-cooker than on baking. the biscuit came out one and a half times higher. I do not know what is the reason, maybe I missed the first time ?! but now I bake biscuits on a multi-cooker, it suits me. I bake bread on baking, bake muffins, make curd soufflé - excellent.
I really like making yoghurts in Polaris. and the languor mode - made porridge, very tasty.
I often make meat in a vacuum on a multi-cook.here is the detail: if I want to get something like raw smoked, then I add prunes to the meat and put it at 65 degrees, if juicy baked - at 70 degrees. (I got used to making a whole chicken 1.7 kg in 6 hours defrosted or 7 from the freezer) is better than buying sausage in the store.
I didn't really like the sous beef - I don’t do it anymore.
As for the condensate collector, it definitely "lives its own life")) the main volume of condensate falls into the depression on the side, but it also falls into the drip tray. my drip tray never got full. it seems like condensation does not get on baked goods either, which pleases.
but I never applied a multi-stage multi-cook. Well, I don't have enough brains for what. there are enough auto programs. How did you extinguish on it? if a gradual rise in temperature is a languishing mode, a gradual reset from 100? describe in more detail, interesting
Olenka82
galka_exito,
I started to cook large chicken thighs on the Stew, but because of the weak stewing, I would have had to wait 2 hours for readiness and I turned on the multi-cook +. Stage 1 5 min at 105 degrees, stage 2 30 min at 95 degrees and stage 3 5 min at 100 degrees. They were remarkably extinguished, and I was calm for their safety
I'm all about not boiling: girl-th: if you add greens 10 minutes before cooking and it does not boil, then the food will turn sour ?!
Now I put the meat from the pork ribs to stew for 6 hours. I want it to melt in my mouth :) like stew.

galka_exito, Olenka82,
Girls, thanks for the cooking lessons.
I bought 0523 recently, it's my first ... now I'm learning. Something not everything works out for me, oh.
I baked rye-wheat bread, it turned out without problems. But I also have a bread machine, wheat is easy to make there, and rye is even easier to bake here. I baked orange charlotte (rather assorted) - also good and simple. Honey cake, "Yarmarka" cheesecake, chocolate on boiling water, something else - it's all on native programs ... something is better, something worse, but I blame it all on the cooking technology, maybe where the dough turned out better, where- then the dough has gotten hooked due to the fact that it has been kneaded a little, but the baking program is doing fine. I only add time, I'm afraid it will be unbaked. Rosehip insisted on 90 * (multi-cook) - sometimes small bubbles rise (probably when the temperature catches up). The yogurt is fine.
But with hot - well, nothing. I turn on frying in oil, it picks up, I check the temperature of the sensor, as much as 182 *, I put the food in and the temperature drops to 122-124 and then it just stews, but there is no frying. I tried to lay food before, again as if there was not enough power, the temperature was lower than the declared one, it is stewed, but not fried at all, even onions and carrots. Maybe in 30-40 minutes and fry a little, but I don't have the patience to wait so long.
There is also a problem with rice - either "aldente", then at least run to the store to buy nuri for rolls
Girls, if you find time, write down here recipes and technology how to cook (exactly at 0523). I am mastering science here and on the multicooker. ru, but there are almost no recipes and advice on our cartoon, but she's good, I want to make friends with her.
galka_exito
viburnum 33, congratulations on your purchase. I wish you new hassle-free goodies and goodies.
Over rice. in Polaris 0523 the cereal mode is touch-sensitive, that is, it determines the cooking time itself (despite the fact that the time is indicated) The only thing is that you need to clearly define the proportions of water / cereal and ALWAYS use them. I, of course, am not a gourmet, but I chose the following proportions for myself: round rice (I take it by weight, I don't get too dirty) 1 part + water 1.7 parts + salt + a little oil if desired. cereal program. I usually take rice 1.5 multi-glasses + 2.7 (two full and an incomplete third on the little finger) glasses of water + if I wash the rice, then I take a little less water. but we sell rice pure, washed only at first, then stopped. Try it, you might like it. If dry, add a little more water next time.
for frying. sad.frying like in a frying pan does not work. (but this will not work in any multicooker) I have not yet found a mode in which the set temperature is constantly maintained, that is, it is impossible to fry the cutlets. or rather it turns out, but in half an hour 4 pieces. a very long time. still choosing the mode.

galka_exito,
Galenka, thanks for responding. I'll try this now. I also always cooked round rice. Long ago I was taught by my acquaintances from Central Asia: rice should absorb zirvak (a rich broth that is obtained after frying meat and vegetables), but with steamed rice it does not work like that, it seems to be on its own. On the gas stove, I was taught to do this - pour rice on top of the meat, if there is not enough zirvak, add water up to 2 fingers above the rice and put on a high heat to boil to the level of rice. During this time, with a strong boil, the rice will absorb the delicious, fatty broth, then make the fire minimal and leave it to evaporate until the zirvak is completely absorbed and the rice becomes dry, but steamed and cooked. If you are not ready yet, then make holes with a knife to the bottom and in
pour a little boiling water and continue to steam. It always worked out.
And in a slow cooker I tried to cook just rice for Christmas Eve before Christmas, I took one multi-glass and 2 stacks. water, "polka" quickly turned off, because the water boiled away. The rice came out one to one, but undercooked. The second time I tried to cook rice for a side dish, although I don’t like it for a side dish (but I have to learn from someone). I have already cooked 3 or 4 multi-glasses, I took more water than 1: 2, but not much (it's a pity I measured it). When the cartoon turned off, there was a little sticky liquid on the top side. I mixed and left on the heat to steame more (taking into account the first experience). I put lumps of sticky rice into the plates (saved the gravy from the meat, poured it on top and kneaded everything). I decided that it was necessary to switch to other varieties of rice, boil steamed for at least an hour, not to boil it, but it is less tasty. And now I thought that a lot depends on the volume of rice: with a small volume, the water evaporates quickly and it does not boil, and when the volume is larger, then there is more water, maybe I had it ready in the second case, but I also left it on heating ... One thing calms me down, mine told me not to cook any more rice side dish, now just to improve my skills personally for myself
viburnum 33
Well 0523 does not fry! I put onions and carrots to fry on a multi-cooker 160 * for 30 minutes - something sizzles there, but there is no frying. Then I set the frying program 160 * for 30 minutes - and in an hour I did not fry LIGHTLY 1 onion and 1 small carrot, but only stewed it in oil. Well, people fry something on other cartoons, albeit slower, but they fry it, even on the same 517. What will she do with meat or other products that give juice if she didn't fry it for soup in an hour. Maybe you need to take her to the service? It turns out that she is only capable of cooking porridge. So with such functions it was possible to buy for 1.5 thousand.
Tomorrow I'll try to press the bowl to the bottom and hold it with my hands, maybe when the bowl is heavier, the temperature will be higher?

Well 0523 does not fry!
viburnum 33, I have Polaris 0517. I fry the onion at 130 degrees (4 tablespoons of vegetable oil, the bottom of the saucepan is completely covered with onions) for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Of course, not as fast as in a frying pan, but nevertheless it is fried so delicately, one might say without rushing. I even liked it, because during this time you can safely prepare carrots or potatoes.
Fried schnitzel, as in this video:
But there Redmond - he has a fixed temperature for frying, so he set himself a frying mode of 160 grams. It worked out well.
Take a chance, try this video. If it doesn't work out, then of course bring your cartoon to repair.
galka_exito
viburnum 33, glad to help with advice. but if you are honestly embarrassed, it looks like you have much more culinary experience, so share your advice too, do not be shy))

on frying at 0523. This slow cooker fries. but long and tedious. Understand, a multicooker is not a frying pan; frying like on a stove will not work in any multicooker (I'm not talking about induction, since I did not use it) of similar power.I have a pressure cooker Binaton 2180, 1300W, where the process is more fun and then ... I fry in a frying pan on gas.
there is still a staff of 900W - recently fried chops .. too long. noticed that the algorithms of the programs for different multicooker are different. I don’t understand why focus on frying in Polaris (a mode where the temperature changes + another mode of frying in oil), and do such an algorithm ?! In reality, the temperature rises only until the mode is entered and the first 2 minutes, then everything. I don't even get up to 95. if you plop a spoonful of water into the frying about 5 minutes after the start of the mode, it does not even try to boil. true. Therefore, we fry either until the operating temperature is set on frying, that is, without waiting for a sound signal and countdown, or on a multi-cooker of 160 degrees. for frying on a multi-cooker, there are also pitfalls. As I understand it, the temperature does not rise immediately, at first it is equalized. and it is better to fry on a multi-cooker with the lid closed.

And now for the good. I made a whole piece of pork on a bake. rubbed with salt somewhere 700-800 grams of pulp - there was a spatula, put butter in the bowl - 80 grams, poured half a glass of water. turned on the baking mode, the time is an hour and a half. an hour later turned over to the other side. Super. crust on both sides, the meat itself is juicy, cooked. I like it. I will repeat again.

Then 0523 is too delicate for an hour for 160 * only to extinguish, but not to fry. Yet these are its features such - it is not suitable even for light frying. Well, let's bake.

Understand, a multicooker is not a frying pan, you cannot fry like on the stove in any multicooker
Galya, yes, I understand all this, but nevertheless, with such power on other models, light roasting is obtained, even if not fast. Apparently they have such a program, they are afraid of overheating and immediately drop the temperature by 40-50 degrees. May be afraid for the touch panel on the lid, so as not to overheat.
And thanks for the baking recipe. I will adapt to other programs. It's just that it is declared by the manufacturers that it seems that it can do EVERYTHING. Again a marketing ploy

Hello everyone, I became the owner of this model, It was a gift, they called me and asked if you want this one, and in 5 minutes I flipped through the reviews about it and bought it. I took it mainly for baked goods, yogurt and heavily boiled cereals, such as corn millet pea. By design, I like everything is convenient, someone here wrote that the brand, I would not say, wipe it for 2 seconds. takes, what I like the buttons on top, no need to tilt, not heavy, there is a handle. My husband brought home, I decided to stew the meat in it, on the stewing mode for 2 hours, the beef is the most tender, but I think I would have boiled everything in the oven in 2 hours. At night I decided to make fermented baked milk, milk for 4 hours at 97 degrees and 2 hours on heating, I learned real baked milk, with crispy froth, in the morning there, half a box of ativia without additives and an ampoule of bifidum, for the yogurt program, after 4 hours everything thickened, I put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours, and it turned out to be a real fermented baked milk, thick, greasy, not too sour. Super!!!

Today I made a casserole according to my recipes on a multi-cooker, I read that this is usually cooked on baked goods, I have baked goods of 130 degrees, it seemed to me that it was not enough, I set 30 minutes for 145 and 30 minutes for 100, then another 15 minutes on heating and 10 minutes to cool down without opening the lid ... It turned out to be a very fried and dry pancake: pardon: It did not rise at all, and the sides and bottom were well tanned, and the top was completely white ((maybe this is why it did not rise, the recipe is proven, you probably still need to try it with temperature, I hope it will work out because I took it only because of the biscuits, in the oven I do not always get it, and then there is a lot of trouble.
Then I cooked corn porridge, soaked cereals for the night, a glass of cereal and 2 glasses of milk and water, sugar, a little butter, everything on oatmeal mode for an hour, while I twisted the meat into cutlets, blinded them into the freezer, and my son drew a house )) that's porridge for lunch MIRACLE !! Delicious, boiled, moderately thick, as I can imagine how much I would have to stand with her at the pita I'm very pleased! Well, let her not fry, I have a frying pan for it

It's finished! Thanks to everyone who helped to determine.

He was always an opponent of multicooker, he discouraged all his acquaintances from buying and choosing.
Why clutter up the kitchen with an extra appliance, if all that can be done in a cartoon-arc is
everything can be cooked on the stove and in the oven, the main thing is that the hands grow from the right place

I decided for myself that I would have such a device when it reaches maturity and
will be at least minimally available for setting modes.
And now a miracle happened! 9-step Multi-cook.
And what is important - a signal at the end of each mode.
For the same soup, you can set up an algorithm by which it separates the meat from the bones and does not kill herbs with spices at the end of cooking.

In general, wait for pictures of food soon
