Ingredients

salt pinch
sugar 75g
eggs 2 pcs
butter 100g
milk 500 g

Cooking method

  • Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Beat the eggs with sugar, add milk and melted butter, stir in the flour mixture at a low mixer speed. Bake each waffle for about 3.5 minutes.

This recipe was attached to my waffle iron, ordered in Germany, and it really took root in our family. From the category of fast, tasty, uncomfortable. I have not tried others yet, this is the minimum amount of oil, I often replace it with vegetable oil, significantly reducing the amount, and increasing the sugar. It turns out well, but tastes best according to the recipe.
The waffles should be baked right before use, the lying ones become soft. I bake from the finished dough as needed throughout the day, sometimes the dough remains on the second day. But it is better to use it completely on the day of mixing.

In the photo there are waffles with 50g of butter and 100g of sugar. If necessary, I will change for a more successful one

The recipe contains 2 times more liquid than flour. Do you really bake like that? I got a dough thinner than pancakes, I had to add another 200 grams of flour.

Because there are also eggs and melted butter from liquid ingredients. So I swapped 300 and 500 right away without asking the author of the recipe.

Thank you for your attention to the recipe and a detailed report. Regarding the liquid dough, some kind of magic I sometimes also get a little watery, although everything is according to the recipe. Maybe the moisture of flour is the case ... Probably it was worth adding a little more. And bake and eat right away, I wrote about this in the recipe. Then they become soft. My dough is standing and waiting for the waffle to be needed)))

ikom, I think this is what - and in the recipe maybe the butter should not be melted but softened? maybe that's the point? after all, melted it is already going like a liquid ... but softened is not quite yet ..
