Low Fat Chocolate Cake - Sjokopulver Kake (Lite Fett)

Ingredients

Dough:
Potato starch 100 ml
Chocolate powder 150 ml
Bremikt 200 g
Sugar 50 ml
Instant coffee 50 ml
Eggs 2 pieces
Hot water 100 ml
Flour 500 ml
Baking powder (bakepulver) 10 g (1 bag)
Cream:
Skim milk (for pudding) 200 ml
Vanilla pudding 100 g (1 bag)

Cooking method

  • Dough:
  • Whisk the bremic with sugar, coffee, chocolate powder and hot water.
  • Then add eggs one at a time and beat.
  • Stir flour with starch and baking powder and combine with butter and egg mixture using a rubber spatula.
  • Bake for 10 minutes at 220aboutC, 30 minutes at 180aboutC. Cool and cut off the top of the sponge cake to flatten.
  • Dry the cuttings in the oven at 180C and grind them into crumbs in the processor.
  • Cream:
  • Cook the vanilla pudding according to the instructions with a smaller portion of milk while stirring constantly. The instructions for the Freia pudding indicate 400 ml of milk; according to the cake recipe, half as much is taken - 200 ml.
  • Cool in the refrigerator and beat vigorously with a mixer for 2-3 minutes.

  • Put the ring on the split mold in which the cake was baked. Put the cake back into the mold. Pour the cream onto the cake. Sprinkle with crumb crumbs on top. Place in the refrigerator for 12 hours.

Note

To be honest, I didn't understand why it was called low fat. There is plenty of fat in it, as much as 200 g. However, in terms of 10 servings, it turns out not so much: only 20 g.
Otherwise, there is also a lot of sugar for a diet option.

Bremikt is a type of spread made from butter and vegetable oil, usually rapeseed oil (popular in Norway, not harmful like margarine). You can safely replace with butter.

Chocolate powder - take one that is already ready to drink as a drink (add water and cocoa is ready).

I used the vanilla pudding Dr. Oetker.

Advice: you can immediately pour hot pudding on the cake, then it will turn out to be softer and more saturated. And you don't have to wait 12 hours, two hours in the refrigerator - and you're done. But then the cake doesn't look so grand.

There is usually sugar, cocoa powder and vanillin in ready-made instant cocoa. Sometimes also powdered milk and whey (in the original recipe for shokopulver without milk).
