Oatmeal pancakes for breakfast

Ingredients

Instant Oatmeal
or oat flour 65 g
Instant Oatmeal 2 table. spoons
Salt pinch
Baking powder on the tip of a knife
Egg 1 piece
Milk 150 ml
Vegetable oil 1 table. the spoon

Cooking method

  • If you do not have oatmeal, grind the oatmeal into flour in a processor or blender. If you intend to fry the pancakes in the morning, grind the flakes in the evening.
  • Mix oat flour with salt and baking powder. Add flakes, stir. Beat the egg slightly, stir with milk, pour into flour, stir (no lumps are formed at all!). Fry immediately (!), Because the dough instantly thickens and the pancakes will turn out to be thick (in the savory version, I waited 7 minutes on my head!).
  • Preheat a 24 cm Ø frying pan, brush lightly with vegetable oil and bake 4 pancakes. Grease the pancakes with butter.
  • What can I tell you? I am the only one in my family who does not have the habit of grabbing hot pancakes from the pan. But this time I was ready to change myself!
  • Pancakes smell very appetizing.
  • They turn out to be slightly thicker than usual, but of a very delicate consistency.
  • The original recipe suggested wrapping fried bacon in pancakes.

  • Today I fried sweets (photo above). + 1 dessert spoon of sugar and a bag of vanilla sugar. On a frying pan Ø20 cm, 5 pieces were obtained. Highly!!!

This is exactly what I meant.
But why the flakes I can't say. I have them fast cooking. I am honestly 2 table. I added spoons, but they are not felt at all.

Stеrn, Hurrah! I decided not to postpone the matter indefinitely, but went and made these pancakes. (I managed to have breakfast, and my husband ripened to the pancakes.) I don't keep quick-boiled cereals at home - there seems to be no need for me, so I have 2 tables. I poured spoons of long-boiled flakes with milk, did the rest according to the instructions, added flakes with milk and baked pancakes - I got 6 thin pieces. In my opinion, pouring the "long" flakes with milk did not matter much, since they were visible in the dough, but they were not felt in the pancakes. I ate my pancake just like that, buttered my husband and sprinkled it with sugar. We liked it, although my husband said that for him pancakes do not replace porridge, but complement; rather instead of bread. Well, let him think as he wants, but for me 2 points are important: 1) I can eat them - an alternative to porridge; 2) I use oat flour, which I bought and did not know what to do with. Thanks again.
