Fire pomegranate sauce

Ingredients

pomegranate juice 1 glass
balsamic vinegar 1/4 Art.
soy sauce 2 tbsp. l.
honey 2 tbsp. l.
chopped red chili 1/2 tsp

Cooking method

  • I made the pomegranate juice myself. She took a pomegranate, took out the grains, put them in a bag and rolled them well with a rolling pin. I poured the juice out of the bag.
  • Cooking the sauce:
  • 1. Take a small saucepan, put all the ingredients. Beat until honey dissolves.
  • 2. We put the pan on fire. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  • 3. Reduce heat and boil the sauce until the volume is halved.
  • 4. Then we try and if we do not boil it down sharply to the desired taste and state :)
  • Serve warm or chilled!
  • I ended up with 80 grams of ready-made sauce.
  • Fire pomegranate sauce
  • Bon Appetit!

Note

I often heard from my friends about the magical taste of pomegranate sauce, we couldn't find it in our stores, so I decided to cook it myself. The result is a satisfied, pleasant sweet and sour tangy taste. For lovers of soy-type sauces, one to one in color! A delicious addition to meat and fish!

Thanks for the recipe, I took it to the bookmarks so far. What is the consistency of sauce? I remember as a child back in Soviet times there was a Georgian sauce called narsharab, I liked it very much, does your sauce look like it?
Psichika
Ne_lipa, the consistency of the sauce is a little thinner than syrup. Its consistency can be adjusted when evaporating, thicker or thinner. Unfortunately, I have never tasted pomegranate sauce in my life, although I love pomegranates very much, so I can’t answer you whether it looks like Georgian or not.
