Filled bars (ham, cheese, dried tomatoes)

Ingredients

Water 200 ml
Dry yeast 2 tsp
Salt 0.5 tsp
Flour mix for buns 200 ml
Wheat flour 300 ml
Olive oil 2 tbsp. l.
Ham (diced) 300 g
Cheese 200-300 gr
Dried tomatoes in oil 80 g
Egg (for lubrication) 1 PC

Cooking method

  • 1. Heat the water
  • 2. Add salt and yeast to it
  • 3. Pour in "flour mixture for buns" (sorry, I don't know how it is in Russian, in Finnish "syampyläjauho" - google "sämpyläjauho" and see the pictures found)
  • 4. Knead by adding wheat flour. When the dough becomes dry, add olive oil.
  • 5. Mix well.
  • 6. Let rise for 30 minutes.
  • Prepare the filling by mixing ham, grated cheese and dried tomatoes (I used the tomatoes already diced in basil oil - google "aurinkokuivattu tomaatti basilikaöljyssä").
  • 7. Divide the dough into 2 parts.
  • 8. Roll out each part with a rolling pin (I did it well and thinly, somewhere in the size of 30 by 40 cm sheet)
  • 9. Distribute the filling on each sheet of dough and roll the dough into a "roll". Pinch the ends.
  • 10. Let stand-rise for another 30 minutes. During this time, preheat the oven.
  • Filled bars (ham, cheese, dried tomatoes)
  • 11. Spread an egg on top of each bar and (optionally) make a few cuts on top with a knife.
  • 12. Bake at 225 degrees for about 20 minutes.

The dish is designed for

For dinner for three adults it is enough, a little more will remain.

Time for preparing:

1.5 hours

Note

Directly according to the recipe, it turns out quite worthy potsayka "(about) feast on" three adults + a little left.
I recommend letting it cool down a bit, but still eat it warm, washed down with milk - you will lick your fingers!
The bars are quite salty due to the cheese and buttered tomatoes. If you are not very fond of salty - try changing the cheese and use uncanned dried tomatoes.
The bars will soak in the melted cheese and become pleasantly buttery-crunchy (like the thin base of a good pizza, if you know what I mean)

Cooking is very relaxed, most of the time is spent waiting until it rises and while it is baked.

Bon Appetit!
