Cooking method

  • one). Mix together sugar, cinnamon, yeast and flour. Pour in the fat milk, knead the dough. Let stand for 20 minutes.
  • 2). Soak dried fruits in cold water. Peel and core the apples, grate, mix with lemon juice.
  • 3). Melt margarine. Add cottage cheese, margarine, eggs, salt, ground hazelnuts, grated apples to the dough. Knead thoroughly. Let stand for another 20 minutes.
  • 4). Make 20 round buns and place on a greased and floured baking sheet. Let the buns rise for 15 minutes.
  • 5). Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Throw the dried fruits in a colander, dry with a paper towel. Divide dried fruits and pine nuts into buns, lightly pressing them into the dough. Brush the buns with low-fat milk. Bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes. While baking, brush the surface of the buns with milk.

  • I found such a recipe in my archive yesterday ... and remembered that I baked these buns a long time ago, and they were delicious. In those distant times, I still did not have a stove (so I kneaded the dough by hand), but I think that she will cope with this dough, she is smart. The beauty of these buns is that the dried fruits in them are whole (most often they are crushed for baking), so the finished buns look like mini-pizzas, only with dried fruits, very beautiful (and tasty). You can take any dried fruit (I usually add dried apricots, prunes, figs, dried cherries and strawberries, but nuts, as a rule, I ignore, because I don't really like them).
  • In general, delicious buns, I advise.

Inna, wow, what rolls! But, they are more cheesecakes than buns, right? And the dough is incomparable!
