Fruit Pilaf (Steba DD1 Eco)

Ingredients

parboiled rice 1 mst
dried apricots 1/2 mst
prunes 1/2 mst
raisins 1/2 mst
dates 1/2 mst
medium carrots 1 PC
vegetable oil 1 tsp
spices for pilaf 1 tsp
water 1 1/3 mst

Cooking method

  • Soak dried fruits for a while. Remove seeds, if any (from dates, for example).
  • Grate or chop the carrots into strips.
  • Rinse the rice.
  • Turn on the Frying mode, pour oil into the bowl (if it is a stainless steel, then first warm it up to a signal), lightly fry the carrots. Turn off Frying mode.
  • Throw the dried fruits on a sieve, letting the liquid drain, then transfer to the bowl on the carrots. Spread the rice on top and sprinkle with pilaf spices (there is salt in my spices, so I don't add salt). Add water.
  • Close the lid of the multicooker, the valve is closed, Porridge mode 0.7 bar 12 min. After the end of the program, I recommend keeping it heated for about 20 minutes.
  • Stir the finished pilaf and serve.
  • Bon Appetit!

And what can replace the spices for pilaf who does not have them?

According to the Internet, the essential ingredients of pilaf spices are turmeric, dried barberry, red pepper and cumin. I would add a little salt, add a pinch of ground cumin (aka cumin, like) and turmeric or curry powder. Behold
