Pastoral pie (Austrian recipe) (Polaris 0508D Floris)

Ingredients

wheaten flour 350 g
draining. oil 100 g
sugar 200 g
eggs (3 large) 4 things
lemon juice 2 tbsp
medium sized apples 4 things
cognac 1 tbsp
baking powder 1 tsp
nuts (walnuts, almonds) 1 st

Cooking method

  • For shortcrust pastry: beat butter, 50 g sugar, 1 egg with a blender, gradually adding 250 g of flour. We make a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • For the filling: separate the whites from the yolks, peel the apples. Beat the yolks and 150 g of sugar, add lemon juice, brandy and one grated apple. Add flour, baking powder, nuts and separately whipped egg whites (stir gently). Cut the remaining apples in half and cut each half in parallel strips.
  • Put the shortcrust pastry in the mold, distributing it over the bowl and make the sides about 3 cm, pour the filling and put the halves of the apples on top, slightly melting.
  • We bake on the mode of the same name for 1 hour 20 minutes. (check with a toothpick and only then take it out)
  • The finished cake can be sprinkled with powdered sugar or chocolate. Can also be served with whipped cream or ice cream.

Filling (all remaining products): 100g flour, 150g sugar, 4 apples (of which one is rubbed), 3 eggs (if the eggs are large, then 2 eggs), 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp brandy, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tbsp nuts.
