Apple shortbread pie

Ingredients

Dough
Butter 150 g
Sugar 40 g
Rum 2 tbsp. spoons
Milk 2 tbsp. spoons
Flour 350 g
Baking powder 1 tsp
Egg 1 PC
Filling 4 things
Sugar 45 g
Cinnamon 1 tsp
A pinch of salt / I did not use pinch
Flour 1 tbsp. the spoon
Butter 2 tbsp. spoons
Lemon juice 2 tbsp. spoons
Big apples 4 things
For sprinkling
Cinnamon 1 tsp
Sugar 2 tbsp. spoons

Cooking method

  • Cut the peeled apples into ~ 1.5cm cubes. Put apples, sugar and cinnamon in a saucepan, stir and put on fire. Keep on fire, from the moment the released juice boils, for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat, add butter, flour to the apples, stir and pour in lemon juice.
  • While the apples are cooling, make a dough. To do this, stir soft butter, sugar and rum in a bowl. Then add the egg in portions. Stir the butter after each addition. Then add milk and stir. Put the flour and baking powder to the butter and knead the dough with your hands. The dough kneads perfectly. Divide the dough gingerbread into 2 unequal parts.First, roll out most of the dough thinly using cling film and lay out a baking dish (28x28cm), which is pre-covered with foil. I baked in Celikon, I did without foil. Then put the apples on the dough and close on top with a second layer of dough. Pinch the dough well along the edge. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar on top. Bake for 40 minutes at 170-180 degrees. My cake was cooling in the mold.
