I made these rolls too. Vkusnaaaaa!
She just rolled out the dough, anointed it with 1 tbsp. l. honey, then smeared with cherry puree and poured a mixture of nuts (pine and walnuts). I rolled it up, froze it in the freezer, cut it and baked it in the oven. She did not sprinkle or grease with anything else. The honey was sweet enough.
