Ingredients

flour 500 g
sugar 4 tbsp. l
fresh yeast 12 g
salt 1/4 tsp
milk 80 ml.
water 80 ml.
butter 60 g
eggs 2 pcs.
vanillin
For filling :
sugar 3 tbsp. l
cinnamon 1 tsp
lemon zest 1 tbsp. l
For glaze:
powdered sugar 2 tbsp. l
milk 2 tbsp. l
lemon juice 2 tbsp. l

Cooking method

  • Dissolve 1 tbsp in warm milk. l. sugar and yeast. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes to activate the yeast.
  • Break eggs into a bowl, add water, dissolved yeast, rest of sugar, butter, vanilla and stir. Then add flour, salt and knead the dough. If the dough is too sticky, add 1 to 2 tbsp. l. flour. The dough should be soft, so don't overdo it with flour. Transfer the dough to a large oiled bowl, cover and leave to rise for 45 to 60 minutes.
  • To prepare your favorite filling (in this case, lemon, poppy and cinnamon), mix the sugar with the appropriate additives in separate containers.

  • Preheat the oven to 180C. Grease a brick mold with butter or line it with baking paper.
  • Transfer the finished dough to the board

  • Roll it into a 50x30cm rectangle. Brush the dough with melted butter. Cut the dough into 5 equal rectangles, each about 30x10 cm.
