Curd cheese cakes with carrots

Ingredients

flour 280-300 g
hard cheese 200 g
cream cheese (soft fatty cottage cheese) 200 g
milk 100 ml
medium juicy carrots 1 PC.
sugar 1 tbsp. l.
salt 1 tsp
baking powder 2 tsp
butter 70 g

Cooking method

  • Sometimes I buy culinary magazines and in one of them I saw a familiar recipe from the "find 10 differences" series, at one time I baked such cakes all the time, using a recipe from "Karina-forum" https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=173621.0, only on the forum instead of carrots it is proposed to take apples, instead of cream cheese - cottage cheese (however, the magazine advises to replace one with another if desired) and flour is not in MLand in GR, that's all .... the only thing, nevertheless, it does not require as much flour as given in the recipe of the magazine, the cakes will turn out to be too tough, but I already knowing the required structure of the dough, I added as much flour as needed .... The cakes are tasty and healthy , easy to bake - try it). If you add a little more sugar, you get a dessert version, if you make it a little saltier - it's great for the first courses both independently and with salted fish, but most of all I love the neutral taste - then you can combine it - as everyone wants).
  • Preheat oven to 200 gr.
  • Grate cheese and carrots (I - coarse). Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl, add cheese and carrots.
  • Melt the butter and cool slightly. Mix cream cheese (cottage cheese) with milk and butter, add sugar. Mix both mixtures, do not knead the dough for too long, otherwise the cakes will be too hard. Divide the dough into 6 pieces (I have eight) and transfer to a floured work surface. Form with hands (wet) 1cm thick cakes.
  • Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Place the tortillas on a baking sheet and prick them with a fork in several places. Place the tortillas in the oven and bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes. (I baked cakes for 15 minutes on one side and 5 minutes on the other).
  • Transfer the finished cakes to a dish and cover them with a towel. Cool slightly and brush with butter.

The dish is designed for

6-8 pieces

Time for preparing:

40 minutes

Note

The magazine lists 350 grams of flour, but as I already wrote, it seems to me that this is too much.
