Cottage cheese-orange casserole

Ingredients

cottage cheese 500 g
sugar (100g in cottage cheese, 100g in an orange layer) 200 g
butter (fat cream) 100 g
semolina 7 tbsp. l. (2 tbsp. L.)

orange 2 pcs

Cooking method

  • In a blender bowl, mix cottage cheese, butter, sugar, starch and semolina until smooth.
  • Put the curd mass into a mold (size ~ 21 * 10 cm). The bottom of the form must be laid out with baking paper. If the mold is silicone, then this can be omitted.
  • In a blender, beat until smooth the pulp of two oranges (seedless and white veins), sugar and starch.
  • Pour the resulting mass into a baking dish on the curd layer.
  • Bake for 45 minutes at 170 degrees.

Note

The recipe is taken from the site Povarenok ru. The casserole attracted with its colorfulness, so I decided to cook it. Did everything exactly according to the recipe. My impressions. The structure of the curd layer of the casserole is very dense due to the large amount of semolina. It tastes much better from the refrigerator on the second day. The top layer is wonderful. All the same, I give the recipe as from the author, maybe someone will like this version of the casserole more. I will try to soften the bottom layer by significantly reducing the amount of semolina and oil.
Baked again. She made the following changes: instead of butter, she took 22% cream, reduced semolina to 2 tbsp. l. This is much better for my taste.

lillay
What a beautiful casserole! Galina, thanks for the recipe.
I usually make cottage cheese casserole without oil, without starch and semolina, I put 2 times less than indicated in this recipe. Apparently, this is how I will make the bottom of this casserole, but I will make the orange top according to the recipe.
Gala
Karina, I also really liked her with her orange-orange brightness
Gala
Lily, I never make a casserole like that either, but I decided not to deviate from the recipe for the first time. The author writes there that this is not even a casserole ".... in the original source they called it" pie "..."
nimart
That's lovely! Was going to look for a cottage cheese casserole without eggs

And it appeared on our HP once!

+ Gala +thanks for the recipe
I take it to bookmarks, I will definitely read it later and I will try

And the orange looks so interesting! (like an orange bird)
Tasha

Lenny
Oyoyoy, how beautiful. The orange layer itself fell so beautifully into the curd mass?

Gala
ManyashaThank you for your kind words. But for the beauty and deliciousness that you create, I cannot keep up
Natalishka

I baked the casserole again. Reduced the baking temperature to 170 degrees. I made the following changes to the recipe: instead of butter, I took 22% cream, reduced the semolina to 2 tbsp. l. For my taste, this option is much better and softer. When you take the casserole out of the oven, it seems soft, but it's not scary, when it cools completely and stands in the refrigerator, you get what you need.

Galina, accept the report:

Semolina put 3 tbsp. l., oil 80 g. Took, probably, too large a baking dish, so it turned out to be quite flat. But this did not affect the taste.
Thanks again for the recipe! I will definitely repeat!
I want to try frozen strawberries instead of oranges. (Defrost, puree, then follow the recipe). I think it should be good too!
Loya
Bookmarked!
Gala
Galin, the report is accepted, thank you
You saw I wrote there above that I replaced butter with cream, it is much better, and I have only 2 tbsp of semolina. l.

I want to try frozen strawberries instead of oranges.
I also thought to try with different fillings, but somehow it seems to me that oranges will be the most successful option.

Galina, quite likely, but you won't know until you try.
And I want to try!

Hello! Thanks a lot for the recipe. Here's my casserole:
Cottage cheese-orange casserole
Gala
Loya, a very beautiful casserole turned out! And a cut tangerine on top? Interesting. Did you put it down later, or did you pour it on top and bake it like that?
Loya
+ Gala +Firstly, I have deviated from the recipe a little. as they say, blinded from that sho was (s). Sverhu - peach puree, canned peaches. I must say, they are very convenient and quickly mashed. I baked everything as expected. After cooling down, I decorated it with tangerines (so as not to be distracted from the citrus theme) and poured it with cake jelly. I really wanted to shine!
Gala
Fine! For successful experiments

Galina, well, piled with strawberries:

I liked it sooo much. I will not say that it tastes better than with an orange, just in a completely different way.
I draw a conclusion: your recipe is quite universal, you can do it with any fruit-berries.
Thanks again for the recipe!
P.S. I still do 3 tbsp. l. semolina and 80 g of butter.
Gala
Galin, you did it very nicely. It's great that it's just as delicious! So you can do with different fillings according to your mood

of course take such proportions as you like
h. s. It seemed to me a lot of butter, it was greasy to me. Me better with cream.
