Ingredients

Meat (beef in half with pork neck) 800-900gr.
Onion 2 average
Egg 1 PC.
Semolina 5 tbsp. spoons
Dry greens (dill, parsley) 1 tsp
Salt 2 tsp b / slides
Dried garlic 1 tsp
Gelatin 1 sachet (10g)
Ground black pepper taste
Carrots, garlic, cheese, mayonnaise options

Cooking method

  • Meat bread is a great substitute for the completely impossible modern sausage. I'm already silent about the taste. I cook it not only from meat, but also from chicken and fish.
  • So, pass the meat and onions through a meat grinder with a large grate (8mm). "Bread" from coarsely ground meat is much tastier than from mashed potatoes. Although it does not hold its shape so well. But only warm! Cold behaves very decently.
  • Mix all ingredients and let stand for 10-15 minutes and mix well again.
  • If you want to "stuff" with something, you need to prepare this "something". I took carrots, garlic and cheese.
  • Put a layer of minced meat with a thickness of about 2 cm in a mold (I have it 31x11cm bread), oiled. Distribute half of the "filling" on top so that when cutting we get several types of "bread". I have three:

  • Next, put another layer of minced meat. Moreover, we put it more tightly so that there are no voids. Further - again the filling and the top layer - minced meat. Spank the minced meat with your palm, tamp it.
  • I always grease the meat with a thin layer of mayonnaise. But you can, of course, not do this.

  • Put in the oven and bake at 190C for 55-60 minutes.
  • Then, it is very desirable to cool well. I was not allowed to do this, aromas, you know, and all that ... I had to get

  • Therefore, the "bread" did not keep its shape very well. But this did not affect the taste in any way. Awesome yummy!
