Thick red lentil soup (Steba DD1 ECO pressure cooker)

Ingredients

Carrot 1 PC
Bulb onions 1 PC
Zucchini 1 PC
Chicken meat
Tomatoes in their own juice 1 can 250 ml
Seasonings to taste
Red lentils 1 glass faceted

Cooking method

  • We turn on the Roasting mode for 20 minutes, while the saucepan is heating up, we cut the carrots into cubes. Chop the onion medium and the zucchini in cubes.
  • I took the chicken half, maybe the chicken itself was more than 2 kg)
  • And I cut off the leg from half, and cut the wing and white meat into medium pieces, this will go to the soup.
  • The lentils must be washed well, as they are very dirty.
  • The pressure cooker warms up and counts down.
  • Pour in sunflower oil, put onions and carrots, after 4 minutes of frying, throw in the zucchini, after 3 minutes of chicken.
  • At the end of Roasting, put the tomatoes in their own juice, a whole jar of 250 gr.
  • Stir and fry until the end of the program.
  • Add washed lentils, salt, pepper, and pour cold water about 1.5 liters.
  • Turn on Soup mode 15 minutes pressure 0.7
  • After the end, we wait for the temperature to drop to 99 grams and release the pressure.
  • The soup turned out to be delicious !!
  • Bon Appetit!

Oh and delicious soup! Maria, thanks for the recipe.
Masinen
Melanyushka, yes, not at all) I hope it comes in handy!
And in fasting you can do the same, but without chicken!

Heather
Our favorite soup, I cook it often. Good with meat and lean. Thanks for the recipe!
zhita
Masinen, Maria, there are no tomatoes in their own juice, there is frozen "cream". Can I somehow replace them? Fry, probably after onions, defrosted, or chop without defrosting?
Masinen
zhita, probably too late already)

Any tomatoes can be used, it does not matter.
I would not defrost, grind and cook)
zhita
Maria, thanks, I was prompted in the topic about freezing food. I wanted to attach leftovers of lentils, but failed. The onion turned out to be spoiled, although when I cut it, there was no outwardly bad smell.
