Cooking method

  • There are many options for lentil soup, but these are my favorites (and there are more than 5 of them here). These delicious, aromatic and satisfying soups for every taste are prepared very quickly and easily. Shtebochka makes them at a cosmic speed (5 minutes!) And, at the same time, the lentils remain WHOLE (and not boiled in mashed potatoes). With any option, except for 5, first fry the onion in oil (preferably butter, since it makes the lentils silky) on the "Roasting" for 3-4 minutes. Cut the vegetables into small cubes and add to the onion, add washed lentils, pour cold broth, add spices (do not spare them, lentils love them). Do not salt. "Porridge" mode 0.7 bp (high pressure) 5 minutes.
  • We open it when it unlocks itself. If there is cream in the recipe, heat it (but not to a boil) and add it to the soup. Salt. Serve liberally sprinkled with fresh herbs (cilantro is best).
  • Option 1 - classic, lean dish. For this option, add an additional 1 mc of broth and add crushed garlic before serving. For a non-lean version, you can add chicken breast (100g) or raw smoked bacon, cut into strips, to the onion and fry for 1 minute.
  • Option 2 - men respect. It can also be lean and non-lean. Instead of pickles, you can add sauerkraut or 200g fresh or canned corn. Grate the lemon zest, cut the pulp and add everything to the soup at once. Grind the spices in a mortar with garlic and sugar. Serve with herbs, olives (olives), lemon slice and sour cream.
  • Option 3 - everyone loves. Cut fresh or frozen mushrooms (champignons, oyster mushrooms, honey mushrooms, chanterelles ...) and fry with onions for 2-3 minutes. Soak dry mushrooms in advance. It is better not to put bell peppers. Grate cheese or hard cheese.
  • Option 4 - especially loved by teenagers (my children's favorite option, they easily do it themselves in my absence). Sausages (sausages) can be replaced with sausage, chicken breast, or bacon, chopped into strips and fried with onions.
  • Option 5 - especially for women and children. Do not put onions, peppers and potatoes in this option. But dates, prunes or fresh frozen peas (100g) can be added.

Time for preparing:

3-5 minutes + 5 minutes

Cooking program:

Roasting, Porridge

Note

Recipes are given for red lentils as they work best in soups. For yellow, you can increase the time "Porridge" by 1-2 minutes, for green - by 4-5 minutes. Please note that it is cooked on the "Porridge" mode, not "Soup", which is why it is not boiled. It seems that these recipes are unusual (especially, the fifth - the most DELICIOUS), but proven in PRACTICE - very tasty.

I bookmark the recipe. Thank you!
Linadoc
To your health! Glad you liked it. My children both understood that it was quick and easy, and they do it themselves with pleasure.

Thank you, I brought it to your bookmarks! otherwise you want lentils, but apart from the standard pea-type, nothing comes to mind
Linadoc

Thank you! Interesting recipes.
Is the pumpkin put in all the options? And what gives leeks? How does it differ (in taste) from the usual? What is Root Celery and Where Do You Get It? What are they doing with him?
Are the modes really any different besides the default time? Is the result really different on the soup?
Linadoc
Pumpkin generally goes well with lentils and is used in all recipes. If it is absent, you can increase the amount of carrots and / or replace with zucchini. Leeks are softer than regular onions and do not interrupt the taste of the lentils themselves, but you can also use a regular onion. Root celery is a very tasty vegetable, it is sold everywhere, you can make individual soups from it, it goes well with all legumes and reduces the deposition of purine bases in the joints (with gout). On the "Porridge" program of 0.7, there is not such an aggressive set of temperature as on the "Soup" 0.7 and the output T from it is 104 *. And on "Soup" 0.3 T is even lower and approaches the multicooker and cooking is lengthened, vegetables are digested. In all Soup modes, I was unable to get the perfect soft lentils that were not mashed. Bon Appetit!

Today the children themselves made the 5th version with prunes, they boasted in contact and to me. Then they fed my husband the leftovers - he did not understand: "Is this a rehearsal for March 8?" They say no just snacks!
They also dropped in contact with other countries, okay?

Oh, Lina, thanks, bookmarked. They are particularly satisfied with lean options. And in general, we respect lentils, which are very useful, and, importantly, they do not pick up nitrates from the soil.
Linadoc
Yes, Marina, she rules me in my post I ate something on pancakes, I was drawn to lean
Marika33
Lina, yesterday I cooked the lentil and pumpkin stew for the first time. The pumpkin was winter sweet. The soup turned out to be sweetish, but tasty. Next time I'll try to add pickled cucumbers.
Thanks for the recipes!
Linadoc
Marina, and today I put your leaven. True, my hops, overdried, but I hope it will work out.
Marika33
Linochka, make the leaven, it's such a magic wand. You will not depend on yeast, always ready in the fridge, at any time.
I bake all the pancakes, pies and pies on it.
And today I cooked lentil soup + sauerkraut + onion + parsley roots + petiolate celery. Delicious, my husband even asked for more.

And I bought lentils. With you, girl, you will learn to eat everything!

Yeah, I also love with tomatoes and sausages

Yes, Len, your family just needs it in broth. Lentils in Ayurvedic cuisine replace meat and are almost the basis of nutrition for the normal functioning of the immune system.
