"Chebureks" with potatoes (lean)

Category: Bakery products
Chebureks with potatoes (lean)

Ingredients

FOR COOKED Dough
Wheat flour 380 g
Water 250 ml
Salt 1 tsp
FOR FILLING
Potatoes 700-800 g
Bulb onions 1 PC
Green onion taste
Vegetable oil for deep frying

Cooking method

  • 1. Stir flour with salt, boil with boiling water, knead the dough. The flour may turn out a little more or a little less. The main thing is that the dough does not stick to your hands. I was kneading the dough in HP - the right bun should get together. Cover the dough with a towel and leave for 30 minutes.
  • 2. Peel potatoes, boil, crush to a puree consistency. Add finely chopped sautéed onions and chopped green onions.
  • 3. Roll out the dough thinly - about 1 mm thick, cut out circles (I measured with a saucer with a diameter of 14 cm), lay out the filling quite abundantly, pinch the edges, cut off with a curly dough cutter for pasties.
  • 4. Deep-fry in hot oil on both sides. Put the finished "pasties" on a paper towel. Serve hot! Cold dough gets tougher!

The dish is designed for

10 pieces

Time for preparing:

1 hour 20 minutes

Cooking program:

HP and oven

Note

Dough for pasties taken on the site 🔗
The author of the recipe uses zucchini with rice as a filling. Perhaps it will be useful to someone. I am not a fan of filling rice. You can also add mushrooms to the potatoes or use your favorite toasted vegetables.

Mannochka, it's good that the idea came in handy! It will be great with vegetables - any stew can be "inserted" into this pie!
Just tell me: what kind of unit is this - "pie maker"? : girl-q: can you share the recipe later - I also want less butter ...
Manna
Haha, that's what I called it sandwich maker with a power suitable for baking pies In it, you can bake for 20-30 minutes without fear of burning, and you get evenly brown pies-triangles So I think that you can try such a dough in it
Pulisyan
This is the intrigue! I think it will be good .... Thanks for the link! An interesting topic, I'll get acquainted at my leisure!

I think it will be good
and not at all This dough still needs oil (in the sense, frying in oil) or water (steaming). In a sandwich maker it is overdried If only you roll it out very thinly, so that it crunches later in the finished product By the way, I liked it in crispy form
Pulisyan
Ah, Mannochka! .. It may very well be. Is it possible to add a little oil to the dough, replacing a certain volume of water? Or grease a larger form with oil?
Manna
Sasha, I was just adding butter to the dough, it didn’t help. It's a pity. But I liked the crunches from this dough, I ate 7 such triangles with banana filling yesterday. would be rubber But, it seems to me, for a couple of such "cheburechkas" will turn out to be excellent. We must try somehow
Pulisyan
By the way, yes. I remember that the pasties were delicious and I rolled them very thinly. The latter was a little thicker and the dough was hard. Apparently his destiny is to be thin everywhere. And for a couple it should be better. My grandmother makes dumplings from such dough. Even without an egg, it comes out very elastic and soft!

Oh, what a superb recipe, I will definitely do it and report back
