Ingredients

Mixed minced meat 400 g
Young zucchini 150-200 g
Hercules quick cooking 3 tbsp. l.
Bulb onions 1/2 pcs.
Egg 1 PC.
Fine salt 1 tsp
Seasoning for minced meat 1 tsp
Vegetable oil for frying

  • What is not added to cutlets! Bread, rolled oats, various vegetables ... I would like to offer you a variant of cutlets with oatmeal and zucchini. But I do not rub the vegetable on a grater, as is often found in recipes, but I add it in cubes. The taste is different! It is very remotely similar to zucchini stuffed with meat. That is, you can feel both zucchini and meat.
  • When frying, the cutlets keep their shape well. After cooking in a contact electric grill, almost dietary ones are obtained. The structure is plump. (This option can be seen in the photo.) When frying in a pan - a little more fluffy.

  • Beat an egg into the minced meat, add oatmeal, salt, put the minced seasoning.

  • While the rolled oats are swelling in the minced meat, prepare the vegetables. Cut the onion into small cubes. Zucchini - 0.5-0.7 cm cubes
  • Knead the minced meat by adding the onion.

  • Flatten them down a bit. Press the zucchini cubes into the depths.

Note

Advice.

1. For this recipe, use only young squash. Old will spoil the taste of cutlets.

2. In the variant in the photos, I used the maximum amount of zucchini (200 g), but for starters, take no more than 150 g

3. In order to minimize the amount of oil when frying in a pan, I recommend quickly frying the cutlets on both sides until golden brown, and then bring them under the lid until tender.

4. If desired, you can add greens to the minced meat.

oh this is for me! I first stuff the zucchini, and then I also sculpt zucchini-rice meatballs from the middle of the gnawed ones, though in a double boiler ... I'll have to try the cubes ...

Shelena, it turns out very tasty! I often do, or rather, I always put zucchini in minced meat, only through a meat grinder, otherwise my zucchini do not eat well, but at least they don't grumble! And the minced meat is more lush.

Marina, I also do the version with grated zucchini. But we also like these, with cubes. Try to offer your caprice (only reduce the amount of zucchini) and fry in Steba's grill. I think they will not refuse.
You can, as an option, grate the zucchini on a coarse grater - the minced meat will not turn out as liquid as after a meat grinder.
