Juicy shish kebab in an air fryer

Ingredients

Pork 500 g
Kefir 1 tbsp (250 ml)
Salt, seasonings the taste of eaters
Onion 2 pcs medium
Or any other marinade

Cooking method

  • People often ask how to cook kebab in an air fryer. I decided to write how I'm doing in a new topic.
  • Cut the pork into large pieces. With 500 g of meat (neck), I usually cut about 11-12 pieces. Cut the onion into rings. Marinate meat with onions, kefir, spices and salt. In principle, any marinade can be made, but we love it with kefir. I leave it to marinate in the refrigerator overnight, then the meat melts in my mouth.
  • Preheat the airfryer at 200 degrees for 5 minutes. Place meat on skewers in the basket. Cook for 21-22 minutes at the same 200 degrees. 5 minutes before it is ready, you can look into the basket, and if the color of the kebab is rosy enough, then you can turn the temperature down to 180 degrees. Fatty meat browns faster.
  • The barbecue is very juicy and tasty. Also delicious from the shoulder blade.
  • Bon Appetit !

Note

Somehow the beautiful color of the finished barbecue is not conveyed. Here's another photo:

Zhenya, thank you!

Yeah, under the brandy, a kebab would go running. Well, we ate it with baked potatoes and pickles, it's also delicious.

Who would doubt ... with baked potatoes and pickles.
Ehh, I don't have an air fryer. And in a frying pan it turns out dry.
But there is something to dream about.

Qween, yes, meat and chicken in AF are very tasty. And when you fry it smokes a lot? Or should you dry it well before frying?

Anya, thank you for such beauty.

Qween, Wonderful shashlik! The color is transferred and the taste and smell too. I like it very much with kefir and milk.
For those who do not have an air fryer, I recommend taking a closer look at the grill, but not a contact one, but with a grate, water is poured down into the pan. I have 5 different companies, take which is not less than 2200 watts, 2000 is rather weak. The best was Tefal. Only not a Teflon grille, but a chrome-plated thin double opening. The meat just flies. I did it in the air fryer and in the grill. Both are decent options. Grill approximately 12-14 minutes frying time, plus 3-5 minutes to "rest the meat" on the plate, not counting 2-3 minutes to reheat. The only condition. Electricity should not sink in your network, otherwise it will not pick up the temperature, in this case, turn it on through a powerful stabilizer, I have 5 kilowatts.

Yeah, kebabs are great in it. For meat, you just want an air fryer.

In a frying pan, it somehow looks like just fried meat. And I want it just like a kebab.

The barbecue does not smoke at all. I don't dry it before cooking, and even on skewers I still grease it with marinade. Then I put it in the basket to cook.
