  • What is healthy is not always tasty. In most cases, the opposite is true. But from this salad I just love it !!!!!! Very very!!!!!!
  • Now regarding the grain. Why oats?
  • Sprouted Oat Salad
  • Translated from the Latin sown oats (avena sativa) means “to be healthy”. Here is a self-explanatory name. Indeed, oat seedlings are in many ways superior to other cereal seedlings. Oats contain a large amount of fat (up to 11%). In addition, the ratio of these fats to proteins, minerals, carbohydrates and vitamins is ideal for the human body. In addition, oats are rich in fiber, which cleanses our body and removes cholesterol, toxins and toxins, thereby improving the gastrointestinal tract and supporting the functioning of the whole body as a whole. The naked oats contain trace elements necessary for health, it is especially rich in phosphorus, magnesium, calcium and zinc. And also there are B vitamins: B1, B2, B3, B5, B6; vitamin C, vitamins E, K, carotene. It is during germination that oats are better absorbed, the amount of vitamin C and antioxidants increases in it. 🔗
  • Used Sprout SmartSprouter
  • Sprouted Oat Salad
  • On the manufacturer's website 🔗 the process is described in detail. The main thing is to rinse the grain well before soaking. To do this, pour it into a plate with water and remove the floating grains. I soaked for 12 hours, germinated after 16 hours. The most useful seedlings are 2-3 mm.

I galloped off to look for a sprout! This is yeah! What do they not think up! Thank you, Ksyusha!
And for a salad too!
Omela
Come on. I set the mung to germinate.
* Karina *
I just adore such salads, I will definitely make sure that there are no oats, there is soy. Well, I think that would be great too! Ksyusha, as always, thank you
Omela
Karina, you can use any grain, legumes, nuts.
Tanyulya
Ksenia, tell me about mung.
Sprout straight to good tails. And then it is convenient to wash off the green tea?
I germinate in a thermosevator and it's not bad, but this green skin can be removed and washed .... you can.
Giraffe
Tatyana, this is the minus Masha And what to do, if you want tasty and healthy food, work hard
Girls, just do not forget that it is better to subject legumes to heat treatment, at least minimal. In order not to worry about the consequences.

Tan, I work. I would eat more often (I just love mung bean with seasoning), but rinse .... too lazy, so I rarely do it.
mur_myau
Oh! This is the topic.

Good germinator, nothing molds in it. And all the details in one place.

I have two, so the process becomes continuous.)) Mainly green buckwheat. I met oats on sale only in a shell, I did not like the result. (She sat and nibbled, like seeds, this husk).

I also sprouted soybeans and mung bean.
But then they need to be removed from the germinator to a larger place (I found a way out - a thermo-serving tupperware).

I like to season with linseed oil or camelina (the latter resembles mustard).

Oh, this green skin can be removed and washed .... ubiyiitTsa is possible.
Ann Wigmore has advice. Fill the sink with water and rinse the seedlings. The husk pops up and is easy to remove. I did this in the basin, too, not bad. Especially if you germinate a lot at once. Then I put the peeled ones in the refrigerator, if I don't eat them right away.

How thoughts converge.)))
It's not just good there, it's perfect, the air circulates in a circle along the walls. Practically, the same smart sprouter turns out.

Tan, about mash here: HERE.

Elena, I really like it too. And most importantly, I did not expect that it would germinate so quickly.

And I didn't even think of a thermoserver. although we need small volumes, the smart sprouter suits completely and takes up less space.

Quote: mur_myau
Fill the sink with water and rinse the seedlings.
I practically did, only on a large plate. But the cleanup didn't come up.
mur_myau
Omela,
On the first day, the skin is poorly separated. On the second or fourth, she herself begins to descend when the seedlings noticeably hatch. Even between the palms of the hand - the skin comes off easily.

In general, legumes can be grown for a long time, as Asians make soybeans and green mung bean, red mung.
In a thermo-preservative, these seedlings are obtained, as in jars - they are so plump and all stretch upward, the same.
And in a smart sprouter, thin ones are intertwined.

If I grow for a long time, then I prefer a thermoserver.

By the way, I recently ran into GMO soybeans. Did not germinate.
Omela

recently ran into GMO soybeans.
I'm afraid to buy it because of this.

No, in the water, the skin is normally all gone, you can see in the photo. Only it did not surface.

Well, in different sources they write differently. The instructions for the germinator say: the most useful are 2-3 mm sprouts, then the sprouts lose part of their energy and vitality.

Elena, you can get more details. I have 2 sprouters: sprouter and electric. But sometimes it is not enough ...
Omela
Natalia., this is such a thing: 🔗

There is an insert with holes inside. Essentially like a germinator.
Tashenka
I know what a thermoserver is. I have been using it for many years. But I can't imagine how to use it as a germinator. Soak and then insert? Do I need to pour into the water? Do I need to put something on the insert?
Omela
I'm also interested in listening. I would do this: put the grain on the insert, fill it with water, and close it with a lid. Then the water was drained and left to germinate. There are small holes, I would not cover them with anything.
Tashenka
Small ones like oats, wheat and rye, it seems to me, will fall through the holes. In it, they are not as tiny as in germinators. But lentils, mung bean, etc. can be tried.
Omela
What do you mean .. Will not fail. There are small holes, as in the sprouting .. In any case, in mine. Buckwheat does not fail.
Tashenka
Buckwheat definitely doesn't fail. I love to cook it in it. So, from lying in the hospital, my brains were completely blurred ...
Omela
I got home, measured it. Oats, if pushed into the hole, passes, but it will lie, I think, will not fail. And rye doesn't go away.

A controversial issue.Legumes that are just heavily sprouted lose almost all phytic compounds and, as a result, do not cause gas formation (Asians always do this).
Have you seen pancake sprouts up to 10 cm in Chinese and Korean restaurants? I prefer this condition of soybeans.
Watercress and alfalfa are generally preferable to germinate on the net to the first leaves.
Quote: Tashenka
Elena, you can get more details.
I soaked it in it, according to the instructions for the smart sprout. Then I drain the water and germinate without any rags. I have 4 pieces, if you turn the lid over, you can put the next one on it and so create a "germination station".)) Spied on the foreign site.
Different types can be grown.
But my family rebelled, and I had to take the rap, eat everything myself. So now I have a smart buckwheat sprouter and a thermoserver for legumes.
I also want a bowl with a mesh from the miller's site to sprout the watercress. I found seeds very cheaply on the same site with Arab remedies. It turns out that this is their traditional folk remedy.
Omela

A controversial issue.
So I mean, too, that there are different opinions on this matter. Everyone chooses for himself.
mur_myau
Omela,
Yes Yes. Who tastes better and who is used to it.
Elena Tim
Ksyun, look, but such a sprout will go? I don't need an expensive one, but from the cheap I only found it.
🔗
Omela
Flax, is he automatic chtola ??? And that thing with a pimp what will be done? The main thing there is that the mesh is not large, otherwise, small grains (sesame, poppy, buckwheat, etc.) will fall through. It seems to me that the side holes are quite large there. And I was also confused by the lid without holes. And ordinary, like mine, you don't want?
Elena Tim
And what a pretty one! Please, please, please, please, eh! And I will leave you alone!
🔗
Omela
This one is cool, yeah !! You just explain to me, what for you? Will you sprout to the grass ??? It just seems to me that all this self-indulgence. Sprout is the best option. IMHO. And you can wash in the PMM.
Elena Tim
And I didn’t come across one like yours! And there the water needs to be changed, but I'm too lazy in advance!
And I also wanted to ask, do you know, can you grow dill with parsley on such things?
Elena Tim
Quote: Omela
And you can wash in the PMM.
Oh, yes ... WASH! Nooo, I don’t want to wash it by hand, I just think chicks appear in all places! Then you need to like yours!
Omela
Choy then he did not come across to you ??

Sprouted Oat Salad

But I didn't like it. There are 6 branches with different cell sizes. And the seeds must be selected in size so that they do not fall through, but they are not large either. And for a long time. In general, not productive. Dill, by the way, did not sprout from me.
Elena Tim
Quote: Omela
I write about it in every recipe.
How was I supposed to know that you are writing specifically for me ?!
Damn, that last one, with a fountain, soooo liked it! But it's so big that I don't want to read it anymore.
Okay, I still crawl on the Internet, if I don't find anything interesting, how will I buy it from you. Persuaded!
THANKS !!!

Why aren't you sleeping, by the way?
Omela

So I know that you don't read anyway .. you just look at pictures.

Buy with a fountain for beauty, you will have instead of a humidifier.

I'm already crawling away ...
Tashenka
Lenus, I have a sprouter and Health treasure (according to your first link). In sprouter (forgive me Omela) sometimes the grain "suffocates" in the summer. Health treasure - hydroponics. I really like him. The other day, at night, I soaked mung bean in a sprouter, and sprouts appeared on hydroponics after 2 hours. In the PMM, my both.
But my friend is not happy with the "fountain".
Omela
Quote: Tashenka
In sprouter (may Omela forgive me)
Oh, I beg you ... I'm not an advertising agent .. I don't have a percentage of sales.
Tashenka
Omela, I just feel awkward if I have to write something negative about something that someone else likes ...
Omela
I am absolutely adequate to this. I then use it at all. While I like it, maybe in the summer and I will suffocate.
Tashenka
It is in the summer that such problems occur with him ... Therefore, I bought it from hydroponics.
Trishka
Ksyusha, thank you for the recipe!
Already all were snatched and the pictures were netuti, next time.
My current instead of oats was wheat, but I tried to germinate oats (the one from which the porridge is cooked whole), it did not sprout, it is probably processed with something, I will look for a special one.
Omela
Ksyusha, for good health. Glad you liked. And the grain, yes, you have to buy it specially for germination.
Trishka
GruSha
Oksana, where can I get everything for germination? seeds and grains?
Omela
Gulya, I buy in Indian spices.
GruSha
what do you especially love? For some reason, I don't know why, I just got interested. I don't go to Moscow, more often I order through the Internet if I need something
Omela
Favorite - oats and green lentils. In my opinion, even in Auchan I saw such bags, where dietary products are.
GruSha
Thanks, I'll see how I come from the village
