The internal design is somewhat different from other sandwich makers that I have seen (I saw them a little, so I can not conclude that from all)
The heating element covers the panel, due to which the heating is uniform, the halves are connected by metal elements, with a slight backlash, which allows the structure to "walk" a little, which increases its reliability. (see photo below)

Summary:
The device is designed for a small family, is compact enough, can be stored vertically, there is a place in the back for winding the wire. Heats up quickly.
The panels are really easy to clean, the seemingly strong coating, as far as it will last, will be seen later. So far, I have no doubts about its reliability.
Liquid ingredients (in my case, jam) can flow under the heating plates. It is better to wipe while the unit is hot. (I put it on its side, and the jam almost all flowed out safely by itself.) Somewhere here in the topics I later read that you can add starch so that it does not flow. Next time I will.
The case does not heat up. I usually cook at maximum heat. Only in the grill it seemed to me that it was possible to lower the temperature.
I don't cook in it often, but I tried all the panels. Photographed so far only waffles))

I am pleased with this device.

But I didn't like the device. Fries for a very long time. The declared power of 1000 W is not in sight
julifera
TatianaSa, and how long is it? And what was the dough?
I don't have Unold, another brand, but also 1000 W, so the yeast-free puff was ready in 8-10 minutes

TatyanaSa, how long is it? And what was the dough?

I'm interested too.

I baked waffles (see photo above) 15 minutes, 2 batches, yeast-free dough, puff. It was possible to get it earlier, but I wanted a blush))
Puffs with jam 10-12 minutes (I don't remember exactly, it was the 1st experiment and I constantly looked inside), yeast dough, puff.
Grilled cutlet for 10 minutes, (laid out on a cold surface), and it seemed to me that it was possible either to lower the temperature, or to reduce the time by 1-2 minutes.

One of these days I will try to bake something, I will mark the time and write.
TatianaSa
And I thought this for a long time. I baked thick waffles. About 10-12 minutes, 2 things. I just remember how in childhood, on my mother's Soviet-style waffle iron, I baked, though thin, waffles. I just closed it, pressed it, waited a little and you're done. And here I had to wait so long. I make sandwiches for my child for school regularly, so that the bread changes color at least a little to wait at least 3-4 minutes. For me this is a long time and I want to buy something more powerful. It seems like a new headquarters should appear. I'm waiting.

But if the sandwich is quickly fried from above, then it will not have time to warm up inside, even the cheese will not melt

yes, it's somehow very long
Yesterday I baked thick waffles for the first time in my life, it turned out - one tab for 4-5 minutes at full power.

Maybe I'm married?

And I ruined the pies today. I bought the dough, rolled it out, rubbed the apples.I cooked it up, it took 13-15 minutes to cook. I'm trying .... the sole. I looked at the dough, but it turns out I just bought yeast dough, not puff pastry ... I was terribly upset, right up to tears. : girl_cray1: aunt!
Matilda_81
Elena, and you bought on A additional panels only on your home site?
Lettera
Today I baked syrniki in a sandwich maker, 10 minutes at maximum, and on an open grill-Teppan-Yaki, grilled faster, in a sandwich maker, but the taste is completely different and a beautiful crust.
From time to time I grill sausages, sausages and even eggs, it turns out a quick snack for one or two. "Scrambled eggs" from grilled eggs are quite original. It looks like the same frying pan, but the taste is slightly different than in the frying pan.

GulnaraYes, I bought it there, unfortunately I did not see the panels at the KYU. And yes, they are on the Unold offsite, link above. But there is very expensive delivery Unfortunately, delivery only within Germany-Austria, confused with Bim. I would also love to buy it.
And on the Kyu there is almost the same unit, only white and with panels, which are not here. But the description is bad, it is not clear how many panels. Called Unold 48321 Multi Snack Automat white The photo shows donuts and cookies in the form of stylized people.
There would be a place for one more unit, I would take

Lettera
I think that it bakes for a long time because of the design, usually under the replaceable and non-replaceable panels there is just a heating element-spiral, and here it is built into flat panels (see the photo in the 1st post). It turns out like in an electric stove, "pancakes" always heat up and cool down longer than "spirals". However, the design n. e. allows you to distribute heat more evenly, so it heats up for a long time, but does not overheat and does not burn anywhere. The blush is fairly uniform.

Ladies and gentlemen, choosing a sandwich maker, consider which is more important to you, speed or uniformity / beauty
With large volumes, it is probably worth choosing units that bake faster.
And this sandwich maker for a small family with a craving for Aesthetics
Matilda_81
Elena, thank you very much for the detailed information about this sandwich maker. I'm still thinking. What I like is not for sale in Russia (in particular in Moscow), Shtebki 55 is not on sale. And I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong, maybe I don’t need interchangeable panels, or maybe I don’t need this device at all, so I’ll think, read and choose.
Lettera
Gulnara, to your health! glad I am writing for a reason
Any of your choices will be correct
I also waited for 55 Shteba for almost six months, and then I typed an order for KYU, and Unold was just in stock, and I took it.

And I am falling in love with this device more and more. It has already been registered on the table, I don't put it in the closet anymore. True, on the table, when I do not use it, it stands sideways to save space. In the closet there are only removable plates, also sideways))), shifted with a towel, so as not to rub against each other.

Matilda_81
To be honest, I don't know what I would do without replaceable panels - everything is in use!
I especially like that you can make huge pies on the grill plate - you get a little dough and a lot of filling !!!
And on the grill plate, a liquid curd dough is wonderfully baked, which can then be rolled up

Of course, waffles are least in demand, because we do not lean in large volumes on bare dough, but they are still needed for a variety of life.
Matilda_81
Julia, but you can smear the waffles with dumplings and it will be tasty =)))) and the dough is not naked, I am also most of all inclined to the fact that replaceable panels are convenient. But in the absence of Domo and Shtebka 55 in Shoskwe, and Unold only in Germany, we will order Bimka. Retrogrades my husband and I did not order anything because of the seas

Retrogrades my husband and I did not order anything because of the seas
At KYU, of course, it is worth ordering a lot of things at once, I collected orders for 20 kg both times
For the sake of one sandwich maker is definitely not worth buying there. I still took to her Profi Cookand a packer and a multi-blender, which has already saved half the cost of both and up to a bunch of small things.
In Bima, I don't like the fastening of its two halves, this one that broke at Antonovka (compare my photos and Cars in that topic). On the other hand, he has a service here and it is easier to change and repair. By the way, Bim is also on sale at Kyu, but I just think that you definitely need to take it here, and not there, but Unold is there (and he is not here)

And waffles can be baked with filling, Tanyulya has a good recipe, I baked using it, photo in the 1st post
Matilda_81
Yes Antonovka wrote, they replaced her device. Here they worked quickly. Of course, I won't gain 20 kg in Kyu. I have a kitchen of 5 sq. m. I already have all the tables and tops crammed. we eat while standing, especially when the cat still sits on the table at all. I have four things left on the list of hobbyists: a sandwich maker with replaceable panels, a thermomix, an automatic coffee maker and a ceramic pot for brewing Chinese herbs. Unfortunately, they are not on KYU, otherwise it would be possible to order everything at a stroke.

I thought so too
(the parcels arrived were 26 and 23 kg, in a huge box, I had to open it right at the post office)
Well, if an ice cream maker, a robot vacuum cleaner or an air fryer is not needed then it is more difficult to dial
p. from. and there are coffee makers, but you have to compare the cost, it happens that it is cheaper here.

Yes, I know that it was replaced, that's why I say that it makes sense to buy here, since there is a service.

eh, I want a pot too
Matilda_81
I have an ice cream maker A robot vacuum cleaner is probably a distant wishlist, I don’t know how the cat will react to such krakozyabra on its territory, an air fryer for our Khrushchev is already too much

Julia, but you can smear the waffles with boiled milk and it will be delicious =)))) and the dough is not naked
We smear with jam
But I'm not naked in the sense that I'm uncovered, but in the fact that the waffle is solid flour, we don't eat it in large quantities, that's why waffles are the least frequent.
Lettera
Today I baked half a day))) Ustakan recipe is a good one and I'll post it

Clarification on the sandwich maker itself:
1. The panels are springy, which together with the design of the hinge (see the photo in the first post) allows the product to "walk", that is, you can not be afraid that the pies will swell too much and break the sandwich maker. However, it's best not to shove too much
2. Roll out the dough as thin as possible. It bakes better and faster this way and it turns out tastier.
3. By adjusting the temperature, you can use yeast dough for raw filling (it browns earlier than non-yeast dough) Just set it to minimum. Yeast-free is best baked at maximum.
Until all
sergN
I'll add five kopecks, she's been living since Saturday. Just want to clarify there is no 1 kW. - 900 W., but nevertheless copes with everything. A serving of waffles, depending on the color, is 14 - 18 minutes, and most likely it depends on switching on and off (heating is not constant). So nothing will burn :).
