Dry yeast 4 g

Raisins 40 g
Dates 6-8 pcs
Brown sugar 3-4 tbsp. l.
Cinnamon 0.25-0.5 tsp
Butter (melted butter or vegetable) 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • for which I am very grateful to her and am writing this recipe with her permission.
  • 1. The dough was kneaded in HP - 20 minutes of kneading, 1 hour 10 minutes - rise. The dough is a little sticky, but not runny. You just need to sprinkle the surface with flour to shape the product. I like to add less flour, then the buns are very soft even on the second day.
  • 2. Pour boiling water over raisins for a few minutes, drain and dry. Grind nuts, dates, butter, sugar and cinnamon in a blender to a coarse fraction.
  • 3. Roll out the finished dough in a layer of 30x60 cm. Put the nut filling, sprinkle with raisins. Fold the layer along the long side three times to get a layer of 30x20 cm. Lubricate the free edge with some water, connect it to the base of the roll. Roll a little on top with a rolling pin. Cut the roll crosswise into 10 pieces. Twist each with a tourniquet and wrap it in a ring, securing the edges. Details of the process in pictures can be found at Ksyusha.
  • 4. Grease the surface of the wreaths with an egg or sweet tea. Leave to rise for 20 minutes. Bake at 1700From about 20 min.
  • These are the buns with the taste of roasted nuts - brown sugar nuts after baking resemble these famous sweets. Deliciously incredible. For big lovers of cinnamon, you can add more of this spice (for me 0.5 tsp turned out to be a bit too much), but the amount of sugar is designed for a sweet tooth!
