Panasonic SD 2501. My modification of white bread

Ingredients

yeast 2 tsp
wheat flour 600 g
sugar 5 tbsp. l.
salt 3.5 tsp
sunflower oil 4 tbsp. l.
water 360 ml

Cooking method

  • I didn't really like the standard bread, so I came up with my own \ "formula \".
  • It turns out very tasty, try it. And by the way, unlike the standard recipe, it DOES NOT CRASH !!!
  • Put everything in the order shown (without mixing).
  • I use the supplied measuring containers.

I want to try, but there is a question - sugar 5 table. l. is it not too much? I have recipes for dough with this amount of sugar in my bread maker and the dough is made for sweet pastries.
Admin

NickQThe supplied spoons are called "measuring spoons". A large spoon is a tablespoon. Small - teaspoon.
In the recipe and in the text, we write: Art. l. and h. l. - and everyone will understand what it is about, how much

For 600 grams of flour, this amount of sugar is normal 4-5 tbsp. l. - but you can put less, to taste.
But pay attention to the salt, 3.5 tsp. it will be a bit too much, 2 tsp is enough.
Adjust the liquid upon the fact, according to the state of the steepness of the test
NickQ
I do THIS.
And it turns out well, don't be afraid, try it. The bread is really sweet, but not a cake)
By the way, you can put less sugar, then it will be paler.
Once I finally forgot to add sugar, so they ate it even faster and said "more of this'
As for the salt - no problem, everything is fine. Just try it :-)

I first put on the bread, and then decided to ask a question about sugar. And now I hasten to report on the taste and quality of the bread. In a bucket of a bread machine (I have LG), I put everything according to the recipe. Has included the program - 4 hours (French bread) and a dark crust. When the kneading was going on, the dough did not roll in a lump, but, as it were, smeared on the bottom of the bucket. I decided not to add flour to check the original recipe. There was a rich smell during baking, but I reassured myself that if it was very sweet, it would go well with tea. And now the baking process is over, the bread is resting on the wire rack. Somewhere in 1 hour I decided to take a sample. The crust turned out to be beautiful, evenly brown (you can set it lighter), the texture of the bread in the cut is the same, finely porous from top to bottom of the loaf (in other recipes, a dense loaf is obtained from the bottom, and to the top it is so porous that it is almost impossible to cut off a piece), the pieces are cut and do not crumble. It tastes slightly salty, but my family loves that taste. For the next baking, I will increase the portion of flour by 2 tables. l. Flour is different, so each housewife can decide herself whether to add flour or not. Otherwise, I will not change anything. I dragged the recipe into my CC. Thanks to the author of the recipe.
NickQ
hoziaika, thanks for the comment.
Two comments, I forgot to write at once:
1.with such a dose of sugar (5 tbsp. L.) And on a medium crust, I get a rather tanned bread, so I would not put a dark crust on myself for sure - it will turn out to be a negro
2. Regarding the amount of flour - everything is OK with me, but the flour is really different everywhere, so small variations are apparently inevitable.
Wit
I tried it too. Moreover, I set it for the night with a timer delay of 8 hours. All according to the recipe, I put the crust on a medium, remembering that there is 2.5 times more sugar. At about 7 am the smell of bread woke up. It turned out great.Only a little bit tore the roof off one side. Tanned, tasty, taste excellent for salt and sugar. So the amount is just right. Yes, I also experimented a little with the composition of flour. 500 gr. wheat + 100 gr. rye.
NickQ, thanks for the recipe!
Agata9508
NickQ, thanks for the recipe! Delicious bread and. really does not crumble. The pens, of course, shook when such an amount of sugar and salt was poured in. But the result is excellent !!!
Dalla
Thanks for the recipe! The bread turned out to be amazing !!!
Marylin62
I say thank you! The bread is excellent! Photo speaks better than any words

NickQ, Today I have HP Panasonic 2501 - First day !!! And I decided to start baking with YOUR bread. I liked the recipe very much. The bread turned out to be golden straight! Orange like that! The beauty. Well risen and perfectly baked - now it is cooling down on the wire rack. I could no longer resist and sawed off a tiny corner with a saw-knife ... delicious! I report: the bread is porous, its holes are large, the crumb is airy and .. at the same time it has a crispy crust! Directly a festive version of some kind! Now I will try to take a picture and if I can post a photo, if I can, as a beginner ?? Oh, I am very grateful to you for the recipe!

Hello! Became the owner of 2501. Before the first use, I read a lot of the forum. But I did not understand: the recipe says - yeast 2 tsp, but what kind of yeast ??
Waist
shloc, Dry yeast, "Saf moment" for example. Other dry ones are possible, of course, the main thing is that they are not expired, this is important!

Is "fast-acting yeast" a type of dry yeast? In my nearest stores only high-speed ones are everywhere ..
Admin
Take the fast-acting ones. Just have it written "bakery" because there is yeast for baking, pizza and so on ...
sungloryshine
Thanks for the recipe, it turned out to be a wonderful, beautiful bread! To my taste, but next time I'll put in a little less sugar and salt! Half of it has already been eaten with butter.
Lebedeffa
Tell me, is the volume of the XL loaf and the crust light for the SD-2502?
sungloryshine
I got the volume XL, and the crust is like in the photo from Marylin62! Still, you need to put 3 tbsp. l sugar and a little less salt (this is for my taste) !!!
kalinkan
Thanks for the bread recipe)) I'm a beginner (I have a bread machine for the second week), I was looking for recipes and found yours. I baked according to your recipe for the first time and it worked. Then I started experimenting:
the basis of the recipe is yours, but sugar is 4 tbsp. l; salt -3 tsp baked, also worked. Delicious bread.
And the next bread took 2 measuring cups of wheat flour + 1 measure. Art. rye and also excellent bread!
No photos yet (I don't know how to upload). Baking on the main program and on the fast one is great.
THANK YOU!!!!
I want to try something sweet to bake, but I haven't decided yet. Looking for a recipe))
NickQ
I'm sorry, I was lost for a long time
(why did not answer some questions).

Continuing the topic:
1) somehow (in a fit of creative passion) replaced the water with milk - it worked out well too, try it (just don't forget that the delayed start is now LOW).
By the way - put there only bright crust on average receive almost "nigger."

2) I have been making this bread with bran for a long time - I just add 7 tablespoons of bran to a measuring cup before flour, then flour to a level. I like it, it's delicious. The amount of bran can vary widely.

Bon Appetit

Yesterday I became the owner of this miracle of technology, and today we have your bread for breakfast.Thank you, this is a sweet bun for coffee !!!!

Sashka
Thank you very much for the recipe! Most often I bake it, though I do everything in half!
Vasilna
I want to thank the author of the recipe for the delicious bread. I have been using bread makers for a long time (now I have a Panasonic SD-2500), but I have never baked such a delicious bread! Sugar and salt - everything is in moderation, and how beautiful is something.
By the way, about the "dancing with a tambourine" around the "kolobok", "steepness of the dough" and other troubles :)) A bread maker is needed in order to throw in weighed and measured ingredients, press the necessary buttons and go to rest from the works of the righteous. Our dear girl will mix, knead and bake everything herself. Our business is not to miss the gentle kurlykah in order to bring out the next loaf into the light of God in time. All!
There are undoubtedly God's bakers! They put the sourdough, knead and knead the dough with their hands, form loaves, baguettes, pies and other buns. But! They do not buy a bread maker :)) Good luck to you all and delicious breads without problems.
solmazalla
Thanks for the bread recipe. I made half of the recipe, for 300 grams of flour, for sample. Tasty, well, maybe I'll put a little less salt next time. And yes !!!! It really doesn't crumble when sliced! So I'll bookmark it for future reference.
echeva
I am very grateful from my husband! She put the bread on the timer at night. French mode. Well, just super! Added 3 tbsp. l bran (in the total flour). I doubted the large amount of sugar and salt .. But everything is just super
irina23
Thanks for the delicious bread recipe! I baked 3 times, I take 2 teaspoons of salt, 2 tablespoons of sugar. The rest is prescription. The bread is delicious, not crumble. Thank you so much! I put it with a delay for the morning.

Tell me which program to bake bread on? I have a Panasonic 2501. I am also learning to bake, I am also experimenting and looking for a recipe for a dense, non-crumbling bread.
Vasilna
I baked on the "main" program. Good luck!
Larisa Shymova
Thanks, I will try)))

Hello! I have a bread maker for about 10 years, I’ve been on this forum for a long time under a different nickname, I took a lot of recipes, then I forgot my login password and, behold, I registered again. All this I mean is that I baked a lot of different kinds of bread and it is difficult to surprise my family with something. I baked bread according to this recipe. Now in our family he has his own name "Dump head". I have never baked anything tastier.
Zakesha
The bread is delicious and delicious. Of course, I periodically change the proportions of sugar and salt. I also reduced the oil. Then it turns out like a factory bread .. In general, I'm happy. Tasty, beautiful and economical. Thanks to the author for the recipe.
jawar
with so much sugar, a loaf for tea turned out, but there is nothing to say about crumbling, but it will crumble along the way
newden
Thanks for the recipe. For a couple of months every day paired with garlic. We already wrote above, it's more like bread / loaf for tea. It is very rich in taste. Great with plum sandwiches. butter and cheese. My family really likes it. That's too much for me)
eta-007
The bread is extraordinarily good. I put a light crust. It could have been average. The top turned out with a light speck. But even, golden. Lovely! It is cooling down for now, but I think that the taste will be decent. HP 2501. Program 1. Opened once in the middle of the batch, admired the kolobok. I closed it and went to go about my business until the biks. I liked very much that there was no need to dance around HP.

Good day. Kindly, tell me, please. You write that you put the ingredients in the order shown without mixing. In the first place you have yeast, then flour, salt, sugar, butter and finally water. I just bake a second time. I have HP Panasonic sd-zb2502, according to many recipes and from video I observe that first they put flour, sugar, salt, oil, water and only then yeast or they are poured into a specially designated dispensary. Many people write or say that the ingredients must be put in the correct order to make delicious bread. I'm a beginner, please tell me what and how🙏
echeva
Liubasa777, it is in Panasonic that we put yeast on the bottom (as the author of the recipe wrote).Your model has a special dispensary for yeast, but this is, IMHO, an unnecessary device. Here is a dispensary for raisins, etc. is a completely different matter👍
SvetaI
Love, the order in which the ingredients are added does not affect the taste, since during kneading everything is evenly mixed. The main thing is that the yeast does not come into contact with the liquid before the start of kneading (relevant when delaying the start). However, each manufacturer recommends its own order of bookmarking products. In most bread makers, liquid ingredients are placed first, then dry ingredients. In Panasonic on the contrary - first dry - flour, salt, sugar; then liquid. It is best to stick to the manufacturer's recommendation, even if it is not in accordance with the order described in the recipe.
In Panasonic, yeast is placed on the bottom, under the flour, and the liquid is poured on top of the flour, so even when baking with delay, the yeast will not get wet and will not lose activity ahead of time. But if you have a model with a yeast dispenser, use it. This is not a necessary gizmo, but very convenient.

There is no author, but the recipe lives on). I confirm that the recipe is real, valid. the bread turned out as in the photo, it tastes like a roll. It does not crumble, it is very soft, the taste is balanced with salt and sugar. I was looking for such a recipe. She took the recipe into the piggy bank. The only thing for my family is a large loaf, but I still can't count on a smaller volume (I'm not a magician, I'm just learning))
andreiko272
I bought my first bread machine and this is of course a Panasonic 2501 and this recipe was the first bread, only I put 4 tbsp of sugar. l and salt 2 and for my taste it turned out sweet ... next time I will reduce the amount of sugar

Good evening.
Today, at one in the morning, I baked bread. The stove beeped, and I immediately took the bread out of the stove (2512). I wrapped it in a towel, put it on the wire rack, and left it there until 9 in the morning.
I made bread strictly according to this recipe. It turned out delicious. Does not crumble when sliced. Next time I will try to reduce sugar and salt and probably reduce to 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.
p.s. thank you all for your help in choosing a program
