Christmas braid

Ingredients

Flour 700 g
(+ up to 50 g, depending on flour
and the size of the eggs,

Serum 320 ml
Salt 8 g
Sugar 100 g
Rast. oil 40 ml
Fresh yeast 25 g
Egg 2 pcs.
+ 1 yolk
Lemon juice 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • Recipe for 2 braids, each weighing more than 600 g
  • Bookmark products: whey, sugar, yeast, eggs, flour, salt, oil, lemon juice.
  • Kneading in the "dough" mode. For Delongy 125 I set the 2nd batch up to 30 minutes, one proofing for 1 hour. After kneading the dough, I divided it into 2 parts and each part into 5 identical pieces. According to the scheme (borrowed from Ludmila in LJ), I formed 2 braids and put them on proofing for 1 hour under the film.
