Ingredients

Nettle 150 g
Potato 1 PC
Bulb onions 1 head
Oat flakes 1 glass
Flour (wheat CZ) 1 tbsp. l.
Potato starch 1 tbsp. l.
Salt, pepper, spices taste

Cooking method

  • 1. We go into the forest and collect nettles, preferably only young tops of a beautiful even green color without defects. I recommend bringing gloves and scissors.

  • 2. Pour water into a large plate (bowl / saucepan) and add a teaspoon-tablespoon (depending on the bowl) salt, stir. We lower the nettle into the water, let it lie down for half an hour, so that all possible living creatures are evacuated.
  • 3. Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and onions. Pour the oatmeal with water so that it is moistened and allowed to swell a little, but do not make porridge out of them.
  • 4. Nettle in a colander and under running water.
  • 5. Nettle + potatoes + onion + salt + pepper are sent to a blender or meat grinder. Grind not into porridge.
  • 6. Add oatmeal, a spoonful of starch, a spoonful of flour to the "minced meat" and mix.

  • If it turns out to be rare, then you can thicken the workpiece directly with dry flakes. do not overdo it, they will swell and can be very dry.
  • 7. Form the cutlets. Roll them in breadcrumbs or bran like mine. We fry on both sides. Do not make them very thick, the potatoes are not chopped finely enough and may not cook through.
