Stuffed tomatoes

Ingredients

Tomatoes 6 pcs.
Minced meat 400 g
Fresh hot peppers 2-3 pcs.
Sauce:
Sour cream 1 tbsp. l.
Ketchup 1 tbsp. l.
Water 1/2 cup
Chop the garlic. 1-2 teeth
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • Cut the tomatoes vertically into four parts not completely, as in 1 photo, fill the cuts with minced meat (my minced meat: for 1 kg of meat - 600 g of beef, 200 g of fatty pork, 200 g of lamb, 1 onion, 3 cloves of garlic, 2 frozen celery stalks, - all through a meat grinder + 1 egg, 1 tsp. adjika, 1 tsp. ground thyme, 1 tsp. ground marjoram, 1 tsp. ground coriander, 4 tbsp. l. cold water , 1 teaspoon ground fenugreek, salt to taste). Place the blanks in a mold, spread the peppers on top, which, if desired, can also be stuffed, pour everything over with sauce and bake at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

What beautiful tomatoes! Must be delicious! Thanks for the recipe! I took it away to bookmarks until better times (I'm still spiritless). I will definitely try.

I also stuffed tomatoes, it turned out very tasty, much tastier than peppers. I just didn't cut it lengthwise, but cut off the top, took out the middle, filled it with minced meat with rice and put it in a slow cooker. Poured a different mixture of mayonnaise, sour cream, kefir and water (which was in the refrigerator))))).

Thank you girls! Yes, ordinary stuffed tomatoes are already boring, you won’t surprise anyone with them, but such an accordion seems to be some kind of variety.
