Cooking method

  • Kuchen is a dish of national German cuisine, a pie with a delicate structure. These pastries are chocolate, coconut, apple, sour cream and other types. This recipe will feature pumpkin cuisines. Pumpkin occupies a special place among the favorite vegetables of the Germans. So let's try:
  • 1. I cooked the dough in a bread maker on the dough mode - 30 minutes kneading and 1 hour - proofing. If you cook by hand, you can knead a dough of milk, sugar, yeast and a few tablespoons of flour. After 15-20 minutes, add the rest of the ingredients, knead the dough and let stand for about 1 hour. Milk and butter should be warm.
  • 2. Cut the pumpkin into pieces and boil with a little water until soft, but make sure that the pieces do not fall apart. You can add salt.
  • 3. For the cream, mix curd cheese (I replaced it with cottage cheese), eggs, cream, starch, turmeric, salt. You can add a little garlic (I did not add).

  • 4. Put the finished dough in a greased and lined form - a thin bottom and walls.
  • 5. Put pumpkin on the dough, pour cream over it, top with grated cheese.

This year the pumpkin has not ripened with us (we spent the whole summer in jackets!). And do not sell anywhere So yes, until the next. autumn
MariS

Autumn and sunny patty.

Imagined myself to send a pumpkin by mail. They will die laughing at the mail.
We usually have pumpkins, too, but this year there is a poor harvest of everything. I have a stash of puree in the freezer, enough for this winter
I'll try to make this pie, perhaps, with dried apricots. Also sunny-autumn will be
Pulisyan
Anyathanks for the amendment! The head does not know that the hands are writing .... Corrected!
MariV
No, I don't play like that ...
I won't make it to the end of the competition, I will quit the marathon. Well, if you try everything, I'll turn into an elephant!

It is quite possible if you plop the sugar a little into the cream ... Or, on the contrary, do not plop - the cheese is on top? In general, you are an experienced cook - you will figure it out!

Olga, I have an idea! We need to replace the prizes ... Well, for example - some kind of simulator for slimming - just right after such a hearty and tasty cuisine! To be normal for the next competition !!!

Pulisyan
Yes, good memories are worth a lot ... They fold the amazing book of our life leaf by leaf and give creative strength!
MariV
Yes! : victory: I haven't re-cooked all the Vogtland cuisine!
Firecracker
Sasha, have you ever tried to put apples / plums instead of pumpkin?
Pulisyan
Elena, did not try, cooked only with pumpkin. You can try the fruit, but then, probably, it is better to remove the cheese on top and sweeten the filling with the dough
Tumanchik
And how did I miss such beauty. I will definitely take the basis for the onion. And mashed potatoes will be bumpers. Thank you my beloved Sasha!

Irish, and my husband advised me to do the same. And pumpkin is also good ... I'm afraid I won't eat pies for a long time after the competition

I would like to try to bake a pumpkin kitchen, but the pumpkin remained only frozen. Do you think you can use frozen pumpkin here?
Maybe just defrost it and cook for 2-3 minutes so that it doesn't turn into mashed potatoes.
Need to try
