Ingredients

Ripe tomatoes 3 Kg
Apples 0.5KG
Onion 0.25 kg
Salt 1.5 tbsp. l.
Sugar 1 and 1/4 Art.
Apple cider vinegar or regular 9% 50 g

Cooking method

  • Cut the small tomatoes into 2 pieces, large into 4 pieces. Finely chop the onion. Remove the core from the apples and cut into large cubes. Now we take a saucepan with a thick bottom, throw in apples, tomatoes, onions and cook until the onions become soft. Remove from heat, let cool. Grind everything with a blender until smooth. Now you can grind everything through a sieve, or you can leave it that way, but then you will come across seeds and skins from the tomato. Add sugar, salt and put on fire again. Cook until desired thickness. In 10 minutes. until the end of cooking, add vinegar and seasonings. I added ready-made seasoning for kebabs, it turned out like store-bought ketchup for kebabs. You can add black and red ground pepper, here it is already a matter of taste and imagination, add whatever you like. Pour into jars and roll up.

My family, like a passion, love ketchup (I don't like the store ones at all). So, I made everything easier: washed the tomatoes (they are not very large for me, I didn't have to cut them), peeled the onions, cut them into quarters, apples into quarters, cutting out the core. She threw all this into a large glass of a blender, chopped it, poured it into a saucepan and over the fire. When everything was cooked once more with an immersion blender in the "dust", I added salt, sugar, apples. vinegar and rolled up. Simply and easily! Longer than washing cans))))
