Ingredients

St. yeast 10 g
Wheat flour 300 g
Rye flour 150 g
Honey 2 tbsp. l
Salt 1 tsp
Olive oil 2 tbsp. l
Water 300 ml
Ground poppy 75 g
Raisins 50 g

Cooking method

  • This wonderful bread revealed its taste only the next day.
  • Grind flour with yeast. If dry, then dissolve in water. Add salt, oil, poppy seeds.
  • Dissolve honey with water. Add to flour mixture and knead the dough. Add raisins at the end.
  • Leave for proofing for 1-1.5 hours. Turn on the oven at 220 degrees 30 minutes before the end of the proofing. I also leave the baking sheet to heat.
  • Bake at 220 ° C for 15 minutes and 35 minutes at 180 ° C.

My husband found it too sweet because of the raisins. I didn't think so.
You can also add cinnamon, nuts, seeds to the dough. You can't spoil porridge with butter!
