This is the middle option. It doesn't have the boiled cabbage smell. Ideal for fillings where there is little liquid. In my opinion, it is more useful because it is in its own juice. In general, judge for yourself. So I make not only fresh cabbage, but also sauerkraut. For quick ammchiki with such a filling from Stella, I will give away all the secrets! My son is an older student. And these are always bags of food. This is where pies with cabbage go.
  • In general, everything is simple. We chop the cabbage. Three carrots. We put it in a saucepan. I am not mixing. From the heart we pour vegetable oil. ALL! We close. Pressure 3. Extinguishing mode. At the end of the regime and the pressure drop, open and mix. Add dill seeds and soy sauce. I try to eat less salt. But that's for my taste. We cover. No pressure. Fry mode. At the end of the mode, you can enjoy. Tasty hot, but awesome cold. There is little liquid in it. Therefore, it goes well with fillings.

Tell me, can vegetables or mushrooms give extra juice in this stewing option (in a pressure cooker - Orson multicooker) and make the cabbage watery? Or can I try?




Oh, didn’t wait for an answer. Made at your own peril and risk with onions and mushrooms. Everything worked out! I did this:
1. Mode ,, baking ,, open lid - fried finely chopped onion (1pc) in vegetable oil until transparent, then added mushrooms (400 gr.), Peeled and cut into slices. Salted a little so that the mushrooms give juice. Fried until the liquid evaporated, not for long.
2. Pressure 3, mode ,, stewing, ”- before switching on the mode, I loaded chopped cabbage into the bowl (1-in medium forks, already chopped cabbage with my hands) and grated carrots on a medium grater (1 pc.). I cooked for 40 minutes. Didn't stir either during loading or during cooking.
3. I dropped the pressure to 0, after a minute I was able to open the lid, then I added 4 tbsp. l. soy sauce, mixed.
4. Program ,, frying ,,, pressure 0, with the lid closed, cooked for 30 minutes.
5. 5 minutes before the end of cooking, all the steam left, the float drowned, calmly removed the lid without turning off the program, tried it on salt - added a little, added finely chopped fresh herbs - parsley and dill, mixed, closed the lid again and cooked it before the end programs.
The result is zero liquid at the bottom. Nothing burned. Delicious. Cabbage goes very well with mushrooms.
Even my husband, who does not really like cabbage, said that he would be a side dish for Sunday cutlets. ;-)

Despite the fact that I bought the cabbage oh-oh-very tough, the filling for the pies turned out to be excellent, almost without liquid. You can't get that in a frying pan.
But I cooked in MT Panasonic for 30 minutes on "stewing", then set 20 minutes on "frying", that is, I tried to follow the recommendations. It was not there: after 50 minutes of cooking my cabbage was completely raw, I had to put it out on "frying for another 1 hour. About 20 minutes before the end I added tomato paste, sugar, salt.
There is still a little bit of bitterness, but I think that this is such an unfortunate variety of cabbage I bought. Maybe scald it next time before cooking?
