Cooking method

  • This recipe is suitable for both good (preferably rustic) chicken and duck. Wash the chicken and wipe it dry. We squeeze the sauerkraut, add starch to it and grind it with our hands. Add apple slices and juniper to the cabbage. We take out the chicken, put a layer of apples on the bottom of the bowl, on them the chicken, which we tightly fill with prepared cabbage with apples and juniper. Cover the chicken on all sides with apple slices and pour the marinade left over from the chicken on top. It looks like this:
