Plain white French bread in a bread maker
Category: Yeast bread
Ingredients
Water 330ml
Flour 560gr
Salt 1.5 tsp
Powdered milk 1.5 tbsp. l.
Butter 20gr
Yeast 5/4 tsp
Cooking method

Good day, comrades!
I stumbled across a seemingly simple white bread recipe on the Internet, but it turned out to be exactly the correct recipe according to which even my grandmother made bread in a bread maker (yes, yes, my grandmother had a bread maker and I'm not 12 years old), only with the proportions of ingredients the trouble on all sites is that you always had to add flour. It is not an option at all to put it at night, and so, by trial and error, the bread according to the recipe above, I cooked perfectly at night according to the program and in the morning there was a large and lush bread and even the lid did not fall - it's a pity I didn't take a picture
Well, there are no subtleties about cooking - we fill in everything, on top of flour and yeast and French bread. Delicious, excellent white bread is ready!

The dish is designed for 1kg
Cooking time: 3:20
Cooking program: French bread

Bulka
5/4 tsp yeast ..... how is it, excuse me?
Nez
Bulka, this is a teaspoon + 1/4 teaspoon

Tell me, what weight is the recipe for?
fialka79
ahh, everything ... I saw ... 1 kg
Nez
fialka79, yes per kilogram Well, in any case, you can simply add up the weight of all the ingredients and it will be approximately clear what weight to count on
fialka79
Litter for persistence (I just bake for 3 days and 2 out of 4 buns of different baked goods are not successful) don't you need to put sugar? Well ... to make the yeast work?

And you can. is there a similar simple rye bread recipe? To surely work out?

Thank you! Today I baked, I have been waiting for such a recipe for a long time, but instead of powdered milk I added condensed milk. My wife really liked it. True, the rivers were on the main mode, 3 hours (860 grams), but the loaf was 700 grams. And during the kneading, the bread maker fell off the table, but baked.

Hello! Sugar not needed or missed? Thank you.
Nez
Teillet, No, sugar is not needed

Thank you! Has baked, already finished. Made according to the recipe, however, on the main program. In my Panasika French is 6 hours. I used this program a couple of times. I didn't see much difference, so I use the main one. It turned out, but it "blew" the roof a little. It seemed to me a little liquid, but did not change anything. Today I want to repeat. I will try to post a photo.

Teillet, well, it happens with a roof there, + -10ml of water and it is different, well at least it doesn’t affect the taste) Yesterday it was baked - it’s just good, soft, tasty white bread without frills.

Yes, my French 3:20 is baked - different stoves.

I had Moulinex, there is also 3:30 in fr. mode. And in Panasonic, the main program is 4 hours (30 minutes is temperature equalization). Added fluids. We are waiting ...

I'm afraid to imagine the mixing process in your HP

And what a smart girl: she fell, hit, and did the job! :

Good bread! In my old HP, Hitachi (remained with the former) was practically the same as the main recipe. Only there still need sugar 1.5 tbsp. l. I tried to do it like here, the crust just turned out white. Today I added a little less spoonful of sugar and chose a dark crust. It became normal, although for me it would be better to be even tanned. Perhaps the features of the bread machine are as follows (Redmond 1910). Pyok on the French program. 4 hours 5 minutes ...
Nez
yumis1, I wrote "french bread" because in my moulinex it is the main program at 3: 10-3: 20. I think that you should just try to do the same, without sugar on the main program for your stove.

Yes, that's all the same, the bread turns out wonderful. And 3/4 tablespoons of sugar won't do much weather. I read somewhere that my HP has such a problem with a crust.

Good day! Happy New Year 2020!

On the forum for French bread, the water: flour ratio ranges from 1: 1.4 (Panasonic) to 1: 1.7 (current topic).
Questions:
1. What ratio is still better to take?
2. Which mode to choose on Hitachi 301 (BRED, MIX BRED)?
I don't want to bake in the oven according to the Hitachi 303 recipe;
