eggs 4 things
milk 50 ml
cocoa 3 tbsp. l
baking powder 2 tsp
flour 125 g
starch 40 g
For filling and cream:
pitted cherries 300 g
sugar 1 tbsp. l
starch 1 tbsp. l
Cherry juice 50 g
heavy cream 500 ml
vanilla sugar 1 sachet
grated chocolate

Cooking method

  • As a basis for this recipe, I took a recipe from Dr. Oetker.
  • Separate the yolks from the whites.
  • Beat the yolks with sugar and melted butter, add milk.
  • Beat the whites into a dense mass.
  • Mix flour with cocoa and baking powder and sift into yolk mass. Mix.

  • Gently add the whipped egg whites into the dough.
  • Grease a mold with butter and pour out the dough.

  • Bake for about 45 minutes at 180 degrees.

  • While the finished cake cools down, prepare the filling and cream.
  • Boil the cherries with sugar.

  • Beat the cooled cream with vanilla sugar until firm.
  • You can add a thickener for cream.
  • Cut the cooled cake into 3 parts.

  • Cover with the second crust and layer of cream again.
