Snowflakes (Schneeflocken)

Ingredients

butter 175 g
chocolate white 50 g
powdered sugar 80 g
corn starch 30 g
wheat flour 170 g
egg 1 PC
vanilla sugar 1 pack
coconut flakes 40 g
powdered sugar for powder

Cooking method

  • Melt the chocolate in a water bath, add eggs and sugar, vanilla sugar. Grind the mass well with a spoon. Set aside some shavings for sprinkling, add the rest to the dough, add starch and sifted flour. Use a spoon to knead a thick dough. Transfer it to a pastry syringe / bag (preferably a plastic bag) and deposit the cookies. I made a "grass" nozzle, it came out a bit thin, I need a "star" nozzle. A pattern can be made by depositing part of the dough in the center, and then 5 more of the same patterns can be deposited by touching the central one. Sprinkle with coconut. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. I got 4 trays, taking into account the fact that the other nozzle will be thicker, then the number will decrease. The center of the snowflake must be made reinforced, otherwise the "hanging" edges will break off under load. The cookies are fragile, shortbread, it seemed to me very buttery, I won't eat much)))

The dish is designed for

2-3 trays

Time for preparing:

45 min for everything

Cooking program:

Natasha, very beautiful and on time!
You can use the same idea with another test!
Irina.
Very interesting and beautiful.
Natasha, does the dough expand or keep its shape during baking?
NataliARH
Olga, Irina., Thank you! I think yes, any dough is possible. It is this dough that has spread quite a bit.

Natasha! Cool snowflakes! And imperceptibly that they blurred. They kept the form. Oh, I like that they are thin. They turned out so graceful. I will definitely try to bake it.
Irina.
NataliARHhow does it taste? Loose, fragile? And is it possible to assemble a Christmas tree from it?
julia007
Very nice, bookmarked.
NataliARH
Irina., they are crumbly and fragile, they are sandy, you definitely won't be able to make a Christmas tree, I wrote there in the recipe that you need to make an asterisk nozzle then they will not be so fragile! but it's still not the same for the tree, I think ...
julia007, Thank you!
Irina.
Quote: NataliARH
the tree definitely won't work
Well, okay then, let them remain snowflakes.
