egg yolk 1 PC
cream or milk 2st l

Cooking method

  • Roast potato
  • Mash or mince potatoes boiled in peel.
  • Fry the loin pieces, add the chopped onion and sauté lightly. Mix with potatoes, sausage pieces, mustard, pepper and breadcrumbs, salt.
  • Form the mass in the form of a loaf, grease with yolk stirred in cream or milk and bake in the oven.
  • Serve with tomato sauce and green salad.

Note

It says so in the recipe in my new cookbook, but I cooked a little differently.
Loins and sausages were not in my refrigerator. But there are sooo many sausage scraps and a little fried duck left ..., then all according to the recipe.
Yolk ... and protein 1 piece, what to do? In general, I left three spoons of pure potato mass, whipped the egg white, added mashed potatoes and yolk, beat, added a little milk, mixed well and smeared the potato loaf with this mass.
(and why was it called potato roast?)
