Ingredients

Large unpeeled shrimps 400 g
Chicken or vegetable broth 500 ml
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Salt, pepper and nutmeg
Bunch of dill
Cream 125 ml
Yolk 2 pcs.
Flour 4 tbsp. l.
Butter 2 tbsp. l.
Puff pastry 1 layer
Lemon for decoration

Cooking method

  • A true gourmet will never pass up the opportunity to peel shrimp on their own. And to boil freshly caught shrimp for 10 minutes in sea water and immediately use them, in general, can be considered a real gourmet happiness. Most of us are deprived of this happiness! The most that we can afford is to buy frozen shrimp, not steamed, defrost them in the refrigerator, peel them ourselves and boil them in a spicy vegetable broth.
  • We also did not fail to use this method when preparing a German dish called "Shrimp in dill sauce" on puff pastry. I made some bullocks.
  • It turned out to be a very tasty appetizer, which is served warm according to the recipe. But even when cold, it is also very pleasing.

  • - Defrost the shrimp in the refrigerator. Peel the shrimp, cut it along the back with a knife, take out the vein. Boil in water with spices and dill for 5-7 minutes. I mean fresh and thawed shrimp! Those that are gray!

  • - Add the onion in a skillet in butter, add flour, fry a little and add chicken (I have vegetable) broth.
  • Cook over low heat until thickened.
  • - Add cream mixed with yolks to the pan. Salt, pepper and add a pinch of sugar and nutmeg. We spread the diced shrimps in the pan, small ones can not be cut. Add finely chopped dill. We leave a few beautiful shrimps for decoration.
  • - Put the shrimps in the sauce for a couple of minutes.

  • In the bullocks we tamp the middle, cut the squares in half across. They can be warmed up a little in the microwave, literally 30 seconds at 650. Put the sauce with shrimps, decorate the top with the delayed shrimps and slices of lemons.

I asked my husband to buy it on the way. You should have seen what he brought. There were a dozen of them for a small roll .. And I then ordered two for a roll. They ate deliciously, but take a picture ... What can you do, the man should be sent for the products he knows. Says it was written ROYAL! Looks like the kingdom is completely impoverished ...
