Cuttlefish with rice

Ingredients

Small cuttlefish, frozen 600 g
Olive oil 3st. l.
Garlic 3tooth.
Parsley 1 bundle
Dry white wine 50 g
Wheat flour 1 st. l.
White pepper, salt taste
Rice 1m. Art. (160 ml)

Cooking method

  • Rinse the rice, add water and cook until tender. Do not salt!
  • Defrost cuttlefish, rinse. dry.
  • Peel the garlic, press down with a fork.
  • Heat oil in a bowl with a thick bottom, fry the garlic, then remove the garlic.
  • Finely chop the parsley (greens). Add to butter, fry. stirring for 3 minutes.
  • Add cuttlefish, fry, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.
  • Pour in wine, stew for another 5 minutes. There is no need to achieve complete evaporation of the liquid. You need it for the sauce.
  • Add flour, stir and season to taste. Simmer until the sauce thickens for 3-5 minutes.
  • Serve with rice.

The cephalopod is rich in vitamins A, D, E, B12, B6, contains large amounts of zinc, iron, copper, potassium, iodine, phosphorus and selenium. Also useful is cuttlefish fat, which is considered a natural antibiotic. The calorie content of cuttlefish is 79 kcal. Nutritional value of cuttlefish: proteins - 16.24 g, fats - 0.7 g, carbohydrates - 0.82 g.
