Pear in a robe - Birne im Schlafrock (a completely lean version of the dessert is possible)

Ingredients

Pears 4 things.
Filo dough, lazy flaky, filo Depending on the size of the pears
Lemon juice, zest
FILLING: nuts, raisins, dried fruits, marzipan Taste
For serving whipped cream or cream sauce.

Cooking method

  • - We take four identical pears with dense pulp, thinly cut off the entire peel, leave the tail. We cut the bottom so that the pears can stand steadily upright.
  • - Cut out a recess in the pears from the bottom with a notch. Pour lemon juice over the pears so they don't darken. (I did not water) We start, tamping tightly, but carefully so that the pears do not fall apart.
  • - We take puff pastry. ( I have a lean biscuit from vernisag with the addition of sl. oils 50x50 with vegetable, on a purely lean version it will also work out great!).
  • You can take filo dough, two sheets, grease them with oil. This version will already be from the pastry chef Tim Meltzer.
  • - We wrap the pears in the dough. Grease the dough well over the crumb with the yolk mixed with the egg so that it sticks better, and squeeze the pear well.

  • - Brush the pears with a mixture of yolk and milk. Place the pears on a non-stick mat and bake at 170 C for about 20 minutes until the dough is done.
  • Filling
  • You can stuff pears with anything. I have marzipan mixed with rum, raisins and dried cranberries. I stuffed one of the pears with walnuts and raisins.
  • Serve with creamy sauce or whipped cream.
  • In some similar recipes, pears are pre-boiled a little in water with lemon, literally for a couple of minutes and allowed to drain well!
  • I also liked this design: after baking, the pear is dipped from the bottom to one third of its height in melted chocolate and sprinkled with crocantum or nuts while hot. Nice, but for me this is too much taste.
  • I also saw the option when they cut off the top of the pear with the dough and poured the creamy sauce inside.
  • I whipped it up in a terrible hurry just before going on a visit, so there was no time for decoration.
  • It is original and tasty, but you need to eat it as soon as it cools down, or warm.

The dish is designed for

4 things.

Note

You can decorate the dressing gown more interesting, if you wish. You can completely wrap the pear in the dough, I made both options, and this one, which is in the photo, with the top open, I liked more. I hot covered the top with white icing and sprinkled with chocolate.

It was still necessary to pour lemon juice on the pear and sprinkle it with zest, since the pear turned out to be very sweet and I wanted a sour note.
Apples do that too.

Oh, Ira, there are still so many German recipes I have accumulated! But I will choose the most interesting !!! It coincided here - there was dough, pears, something had to be done urgently, literally in half an hour, I remembered the recipe. Thank you!!

Ira! Thank you! You will always find such words that right
You know, you can decorate them so beautifully, I already thought of making pairs, a boy and a girl. Well, in terms of dessert, a good way out for those who are fasting is to decorate their table a little. But the taste needs to be made brighter, since I got a delicate, but freshish.

make couples, boy and girl.
Wow, yes-ah! And after these words of yours I presented HOW it would be good! Freshly! It’s not tortured how all these cream Babylon on the cakes look! ...
Strength, I am glad!
Or maybe the bride and groom in a chocolate dress coat? Not?...

Pear fashionista! Pear in a robe - Birne im Schlafrock (a completely lean version of the dessert is possible)
By the way, a groom in a tailcoat is a good idea As on cakes
For black color, you can also use activated carbon
... the taste is delicate, but fresh ...
If not citrus fruits, can add mint and ginger?
Or cranberries (lingonberries) ... In addition to changing the taste, the "lady's" cheeks will also turn pink
Rada-dms
Irina Dolars, Ira! How many ideas! And not even for a pear! I take everything into service! THANKS!

And the biscuit dough is right in the subject, I really fell in love with it - about 20 minutes in total (and also "rest" in the refrigerator) is spent on kneading, rolling, laying out the filling.

Your beauty grushenka! And it sounds so tenderly at home !!! I just bought a conference on Saturday, and it is not juicy at all. I thought I could put it in the filling, but yesterday I made a lot of puff pastry. Now I know what to do! Only there are no nuts. With dried fruits, I just think it will be no worse! Thank you dear for the recipe!
Rada-dms
tumanofaaaa, just don't make a lot of pears, at one time, they should be eaten warm right away !!! And your dough needs to be tasted, I think it will work for this recipe!
Thanks for noticing the recipe! :)

thank you very much for the recipe.
I made filo with dough, did not boil pears in acidic water, only peeled and stuffed with raisins and walnuts. I did not stick it over with the dough very evenly, since I love this dough precisely because of the crunchy folds. There was no time to coat the dough sheets with butter, so I just melted half a pack of butter in the microwave and gently poured butter on top of the 8 pears wrapped in dough laid in a mold.
I used different frozen berries as a sauce - raspberries, strawberries, a handful of lingonberries - I just added plenty of sugar and heated the berries in the microwave to give the juice and melt the sugar. And of course a copious cloud of whipped cream.
Girls, it turns out a very delicious dessert.
Whipped cream, sweet and sour berry sauce, pear in a crunchy filo robe and raisin-nut filling inside.
Preparing quickly. The most boring thing is to whip the cream.
I have done it more than once. The pear does not have time to "fall apart" in 20 minutes of baking, it turns out very tasty. The combination of unsweetened cream with sweet and sour berry sauce is generally a classic dessert.
Thank you very much for the recipe and for the inspiration it gives
Rada-dms
Ant, Irochka, thanks for the detailed report !!! The dessert is exquisite and looks interesting! It was especially pleasant to read that the recipe has taken root and has been tested several times in your kitchen! Happy holidays! May everything be good for you and your loved ones!
And the truth is, why boil pears, well, except that they are completely rock-solid ...

And why is it boring to whip cream, what do you whip? I have a blender with a whisk attachment whipping in a minute.
