Ingredients

Round rice 100 g
Carrot 400 g
Olive oil 2st. l.
Boiling water 800 g
Salt taste
White bread 2 pieces

Cooking method

  • Rinse and dry the rice.
  • Peel the carrots, grate on a coarse grater, fry in hot oil.
  • Add rice, stir.
  • Pour boiling water over, bring to a boil and cook over low heat until rice is tender (about 20 minutes).
  • Purée.
  • Cut the white bread into cubes. Roast in the oven.
  • Serve the soup with croutons.

I cooked the soup "from memory", so I took 130 grams of rice. For some reason, I was sure that for 100 grams of rice, 300 grams of carrots were needed ... Carrots took 400 grams. Well, instead of water I took potato broth. The soup was ready already at the beginning of 11 pm, so I had to be content with just licking the leg from the blender ...
I took this soup to work for lunch today. True, she did not take toasts (but the houses are already prepared).
Well, what can I say: I am sitting here (I am writing this report for you), and I myself am already at a "low start" - the issue with dinner has already been resolved ... Chesslovo, to eat I want to eat ... soup with croutons ...
