Cupcake "Parrot"

Ingredients

melted margarine 200 g
sugar 240 g
flour 350 g
baking powder 1 sachet
egg 5-6 pcs.
cognac, rum 3 tbsp. l. (you can not add)
food colorings dilute as indicated on the package

Cooking method

  • I was looking for such a recipe on the forum, I did not find it, I would venture to offer my own version. It's not even the recipe, as I understand it, you can take your favorite cake recipe and bake it. It's all about where the oven is. I baked it in the microwave. The colors have retained their brightness. No baked crust. What you need for this cupcake. AND FAST! Baked in a microwave oven at a power of 700 for 15 minutes. and 10 min. stood in the switched off stove (this is an MANDATORY condition!).
  • Beat eggs with sugar, add melted margarine, then sifted flour with baking powder, cognac. Mix everything well. Divide into bowls (there are as many bowls as you have colors of food coloring), add food coloring, mix. Lay out in a mold (only in a mold suitable for microwave, I have silicone) as your imagination suggests. GOOD LUCK!
  • I hope you will like it.

Mila1, Luda, class!
Bottling
Mila1What a fancy cupcake! What dyes did you use? I only have 3 wilton colors (burgundy yellow and green). Does the color of the dough not change much when baking? judging by the photo, the color after baking remained the same.
Mila1
Bottling, dyes used dry, food. Colors do not change. In the oven, colors are baked and such beauty is no longer obtained. I've tried it.
Mila1
Jiri, Irishechka, thank you
Lo_yve
how funny) and why I didn't think of this myself. I will definitely do it! thanks for the idea
Mikhaska
Mila1what a funny cupcake! For the joy of children!
I have a question! And you, Lyudmilka, are you covering the dish before baking with something in the micron? Or bake without a lid?
Natalie266
That's so beautiful !!!! bookmark. Would have dyes already rushed to cook.
Mila1
Lo_yve, Mikhaska, Natalie266, Girls, thank you very much !!! Children like it very much! Verified
Irish, I don't cover the silicone molds with anything. You can use them in micro. I don't turn on the grill.
About dyes. You can try natural dyes.
red - beets
blue - red cabbage
orange - carrot
yellow - turmeric
brown - cocoa (but then slightly reduce the amount of flour proportionally)
green - spinach
Natalie266
I've just thought about putting a zebra in the microwave in the same silicone shape
Mila1
Natalie266, Natasha, tell me then how the Zebra is in the micro.
Nataliwave
Oh my God !!!!!!
Darling, what a beauty !!! Why am I against frequent use of the microwave, but I really want to repeat this miracle!
I took it to the bookmarks, you have to invite your nephew and bake this miracle!
Thank you so much for the recipe!
Mila1
Nataliwave, Natasha, I also rarely use it. But this cupcake turns out to be so beautiful only in it, and in terms of structure it turns out to be somewhat different, more tender or something. And when I need to quickly bungle something I do either him or "chocolate cake in 20 minutes." Delicious too
Albina
Very nice cupcake Sorry I can't bake in the microwave
yudinel
I love baking in the microwave! It always turns out lush and airy!
Thanks for the recipe, I will definitely try!

Mila, and one more thing: you have such highly artistic divorces - Kandinsky is resting! What is the principle of "applying strokes"?

Mila, and one more thing: you have such highly artistic divorces - Kandinsky is resting! What is the principle of "applying strokes"?
Natasha, you are spreading the dough according to the principle of the Zebra pie. I spread the new dough color one tablespoon at a time, always in the center. The dough spreads in circles. But here, since there is a hole in the center, I just laid it out, as God put it on my soul. Then she took a wooden skewer and conducted the rays from the hole to the edge, and so on in a circle several rays. And then a few circles around the circle. That's the whole trick
Mila1
yudinel, Helen, try it. Hope you like it
Mila1
Albina, the oven is easier in the micra. Set a certain temperature and he bakes himself Will not burn, that's for sure. Do not turn on the main grill, only microwaves. Try it, everyone succeeds.
dopleta
Oh, how cute, Mila! I have a relative of your cupcake, but more "down to earth", baked in the old fashioned way, in the oven, and the colors are not "parrot", but rainbow:

Mila1
Larissa, what a pretty cake And what dyes did you use? And I look at the colors in the oven have not changed at all! I had a different story. Cool !!
Natalie266
Mila1, Lyudochka, I'm reporting! Here is my beautiful zebra for your recipe. True, there was no rum, I added vodka)))Cupcake "Parrot" Cupcake "Parrot"

What dyes did you use?
Mila, I often use different dyes when baking in the oven - both natural and store-bought (for example, Tyts and Tyts), but my color did not change.
Mila1
Natalie266, Natasha, what a BEAUTIFUL "Zebra" you have done Did it follow the usual recipe of "Zebra" or some special one? I also need to try zabat in the "Zebra" microscope And at what temperature and how long did you bake? Thank you!
Mila1
dopleta, Lorochka, I will try in the oven too Thanks for the links, I took it to bookmarks
MaBa
Mila, thanks for the recipe! I will definitely bake the children for Easter. Simple + fast in the mic, but it looks super effective! With your recipe, I will begin to approach my dream

Cupcake "Parrot"
I have never worked with dyes. What are the inexpensive and non-stained ones to start with?
Mikhaska
Natalie266, the colossal beauty of Zebra! And I have a recipe and a timing, pliiiz! I can even do this!
Mila1
MaBa, Natasha, try it, you will definitely succeed !!! The recipe is SUPER SIMPLE! But it turns out ALWAYS! And every time in different ways Then please show me a photo
Girls, I'm so glad if I helped you with something
Natalie266
Mila1, so after all, I wrote that this is YOUR recipe !!!))) and the recipe and proportions and time like yours Luda. Just split it in half and half added cocoa by eye
Natalie266
Mikhaska, This is the same Parrot recipe !!! Instead of dye, I put cocoa and that's it. Luda has everything written about the time.
Mila1
Here I am a garden head And I thought it was a different recipe, they just stuck it into the micra
MaBa
Mila1, Natalie266, girls, please show me what forms you have (company, model, photo :-)
I took out my silicone one, but it is clearly lower and the walls are beveled, but I want such a smooth turret like yours.
Natalie266
Cupcake "Parrot" MaBa, oh and I don't even remember which company. I went to the store just bought it and threw the piece of paper away from me a long time ago, it’s no longer laundered, it’s a shame to show it
Natalie266
MaBa, shape and I have beveled. and the turret turns out to be even
MaBa
Urrraaa! And I have the same! And your cupcakes look different.
Thank you girls Now I have one less wishlist
Mila1
I have a Tupper form "Miracle". It is also beveled, but the cake is even
Mila1
This is an Arabian muffin with jelly in it.

Mila1, THE BEAUTY
MaBa
Mila1, Ludmila, I have this handsome cupcake in jelly for a long time in the bookmarks. I will surprise my people on Easter. My jellies love it!
Mila1
MaBaI've been baking this cupcake in jelly for about 6-7 years. Always AMAZING! But it goes especially well in summer. Refreshes. There's only a recipe for Cooks it is not specified which packs of jelly should be taken. And this is important, because they are of different weights. So I always take 400 g jelly, each pack weighing!
elena88
Mila1, Luda, the cupcake is just awful !!! I have a bunch of questions right away. Is it necessary to lubricate the mold? And does the top not dry if you do not cover it? And is it necessary to dissolve dyes in something (for example, in the same cognac.) Before introducing them into the dough?
elena88
Natalie266, "Zebra" is incomparable! This is what you want to bake right now, on the spot. Mila1, Luda, Arabian cake is something! I can no longer bear so much beauty at once! I have culture shock
Mila1
elena88, Thank you very much I will answer questions
1. I do not grease the form. I have a good silicone Tupper mold. It only needs to be moistened with water.
2. The top does not dry in the micron. Learns very gentle.
3. My dyes are dry. In bags (but only to make sure it says "food", I usually stock them up before Easter, then they sell a lot of them, so I'm looking for)
Bake for health This cupcake never let me down and always made an impression
Mila1
elena88, Zebra baked Natalie266 Natasha. I am also impressed and I think why I didn’t think of this before. But I will definitely try. And you can try right now, cocoa in the house always seems to be a success. Then please share the result. We will also admire
MaBa
Mila1, Ludmila, and a 400-gram pack of jelly, how much liquid does it take? It's just that different jellies have a different amount, depending on what strength they use gelatin.
ket66
: girl_cray: I want both the cupcake and the zebra to be cray !!!!!!!!!!!!
Mila1
MaBa, Natasha, I quote from my recipe. Prepare jelly according to the instructions on the pack, but instead of 400 ml of water, pour 350. Let it cool to room temperature.
But you are already asking about "Arabic Jelly Cupcake"
