Beans and sauerkraut pate (or minced meat for cutlets) lean

Ingredients

Boiled red beans 500 ml
Sauerkraut 300-400 ml
Olive oil 2 tsp
Unrefined sunflower oil 2 tsp
Spices to taste
Salt 0.5 tsp
Bulb onions 1 large head
Garlic 2 cloves
For the sauce for cutlets:
water 700 ml
Wheat or rye flour 1 tbsp. l. with a slide
salt and spices on vks

Cooking method

  • Girls, I'll start by saying it's simple and sooooo delicious!
  • And most importantly (in a whisper) !!! none of those who tasted guessed what this dish was from.
  • It all started peacefully (like all my recipes) - I planned to cook bean cutlets according to the Giraffe's recipe. But .... I am a fulyugan!
  • Unaware of the impending grandiose idea, I boiled the beans to the state of "softness in the skin". This is when the beans are soft, but not porridge and all the skins are intact. Left to cool.
  • Finely chopped onion, fried with sugar (0.3 tsp) in vegetable oil until transparent. Chopped the garlic, added to the onion and continued frying until golden brown.
  • Then I sent the beans into a blender with knives (it turned out by the standards of a blender of 500 ml), salt and began to rummage through the refrigerator in search of something to add to the beans to add juiciness ... then it dawned on me! Sauerkraut!!!! Of course! Slightly squeezing the cabbage, immediately added it to the beans, then mixed well. And then a misfire! The knives lifted up a thick mass and uniform grinding did not work. I had to throw everything into the bowl and change the attachment to "leg". In a moment, everything was crushed. The mass seemed thick to me and I first added olive oil, and then sunflower oil, spices, as well as an onion fried with garlic (leaving a drop for the sauce in the cutlets). And .... I tried it! Then I tried it again, and tried it again .... Then I took a spoon and almost ate everything! The result is a very tasty spread-paste. If at this stage you decide to stop, then try to grind everything as homogeneous as possible. And if your loved ones grimace at the onion, then chop the pate along with the onion. But it was very tasty for us to feel the onion!
  • I immediately threw a couple of pieces of a freshly baked bar into a sandwich maker, gilded it and ran through it with garlic. I put pâté a little bit at a time, sprinkled it all with a green onion, black salt, and poured a drop of extra virgin olive oil on it. I clicked on my husband and a neighbor for a tasting. She stood and giggled while they smacked their lips trying to guess what this yummy was from. Ideas reached the liver, chicken hearts and whatever, although the remains of boiled beans were nearby. In color and taste, the pate resembled meat.
  • I kicked out the tasters, because the idea was - cutlets. I ground croutons on a coffee grinder and, adding to the pate, I got minced meat for cutlets. I made a sauce from the leftovers of fried onions with garlic, water and flour, salt and spices. Fried cutlets in vegetable oil Beans and sauerkraut pate (or minced meat for cutlets) lean and, putting it on the macaroons, poured the sauce. Beans and sauerkraut pate (or minced meat for cutlets) lean
  • I poured the remaining cutlets with sauce so as not to dry out.Beans and sauerkraut pate (or minced meat for cutlets) lean... Stewing in sauce is dangerous - they can creep.

Note

Lenten dishes can be very tasty and healthy - I already understood that!

Marish, the fact is that there is nothing in the pate in general, neither from cabbage nor from beans. Cabbage is not raw, it is sauerkraut!

Today cutlets were heated - not that. Fresh tastes better. And they ate the pate right away, so I won't tell you. But I will cook for sure!
Chuchundrus

Tumanchik,
Irin, today I'm running around with thanks and I dropped in to see you too (finally!)
The combination of beans and sauerkraut was a little discovery for me.
Only I wanted not pate, but cutlets, look
Beans and sauerkraut pate (or minced meat for cutlets) lean
Cabbage and sourness, and texture gives the bean paste
I openly neglected the heavy and pale-tasting bean puree.
Thank you, Irishka, for a new dish on our menu

Irishenka is very glad that she took advantage of the recipe, which looks not quite attractive. It is really tasty and unusual. I cook it often. During the preparation, I concluded:
the pate is not stored! maximum from morning to evening. but insanely delicious!
Well, the cutlets themselves are stunning! Your photo knocks out saliva! Thank you so much for sharing. Well, the fact that you did it so brightly and seductively does not surprise me. You are a wonderful hostess!
Nagira
Irin, so many nice words ...
A beautiful photo is also a kind of gratitude so that the owner of the recipe immediately felt how delicious it was for us

Tanyusha, very happy! Thanks for your feedback! Just look, the pate in its natural form cannot be stored! Therefore, it is advisable to cook as much as you eat!
Tatunya
I made these cutlets from ... black beans. Stunned! Delicious!
I just did one stupid thing - I fried some more meat. So my meat-eater husband wondered why I cooked meat in two versions?
Tumanchik
Tatunya-Natasha, you are great!
