Note

Biryani (also found under the names biryani, biriyani, birani) is a traditional second dish of Indian cuisine. It is a mixture of rice with vegetables, meat, fish or eggs, seasoned with various spices. Similar variations of the dish are found in other cuisines of South Asia, as well as in Arab countries and among South Asian communities in the West.

* I always have some quantities of different dried vegetables in stock. They are both homemade and purchased. I store it in small glass jars, add it to the first and second courses with meat and fish.

Walking through the supermarket once again, I saw on the shelves bags from the same brand with ready-made mixtures of various cereals, vegetables, mushrooms, etc. It remains only to cook and ready. But the price of such bags is, frankly, like a steam locomotive. Therefore, having bought only a packet of Basmati rice 800 gr., I decided to scrape at home on the bottom of the barrel. I took dry vegetables about 1 tbsp. l. Mix up to the 120 ml mark in the multi-glass. I orientated myself with spices to taste. And the budget version of the exotic Biriani is ready.
