Such a machine came to me today. Purchased only because of the smoking function (well, the discount on it in mvideo was good).

First impressions. Not Panas, of course. And not Shteba. The plastic seems thinner and slightly flimsy. Slightly smells like new plastic, even after boiling the lemon. This is generally my first multicooker where I had to carry out this procedure.

It is very convenient that the inner cover is removed. This is a definite plus. Washable at a time. It will always be clean. Another plus is the shutdown of heating. Immediately after starting the program, you can press the button and this function will be disabled. Very handy for some types of cooking.

The case does not sit well on the table without a pan. The legs are not very good, you can easily brush them off. As soon as I put the saucepan in, and even poured water, everything, even on the glass-ceramic stove, is normal. Doesn't try to run away.

Includes non-standard basket steamer. But the basket from Shteba DD1 calmly enters it (clings to the upper edge, does not fall down). Until I found spare pans for her. In the house there are a couple of pots from Redmond bought for Panas (550). One RB-S500 - stainless steel, the second C505 - ceramics. Both have no pens, but they got into Polaris like family. The lid closed without problems. Since the model does not have the functions of a pressure cooker, you can safely cook in other pots. So a Redmond steamer would work, too. From Panasov the steam boiler is not included (neither from 18, nor from 550). It is wider than a bucket.

The smoker looks like a toy. The gap between the grates is small, but pieces of 1.5-2 cm thick will enter easily. If you do something thicker, then on one grid. The lid for smoking is a hard plastic with a silicone ring and a lid in the middle. For sealing the smokehouse. Keeps normally.

One more observation. So far, the cartoon has only been used once not for smoking. I decided to cook homemade sausages, because she was still on the table. I set it on Multipovar for 15 minutes at 80 degrees (all using sausage technology). She poured two glasses of water and threw in the sausages. So after 5 minutes, the water began to boil, this is at 80 degrees, then the result - the sausages were smelled. I decided hot on the trail to compare with the 0523 model. The same volume of water, multi-cook 80 degrees 15 minutes. Only by the 11th minute did the water really become 80 degrees and it was necessary to add time, since the barns remained damp. This is why with the same power 0529 is more "reactive" in heating, this must be taken into account when cooking.

I was afraid that the bread would smell like smoked meat. But no. The baking pot is different, but the smell from the lid did not transfer to the bread. Just cut it open. The result is very high quality bread. As if baking in the oven. The crumb is "finely bubbly", without large holes. Very smooth cut. And the size of the piece is very good. Not big, not small. Successful experience.

According to my feelings, it stewed one and a half times faster than at 0523. I stewed it in a bowl immediately after smoking. It turned out to be roast like a fire - with a smoke. It will be necessary to cook a kuleshik using the same technology.

Today I tested the "Soup" program.
I cooked a soup with lentils with the same smoked podperevka (kusunchik remained). The algorithm is the same as in 0523 - violent boiling, then slow languor. The supets came out very good! Not worse than in SLE. By the way, after two uses of the multi not for smoking (first roast, then soup), the bowl does not smell of smoke at all! I washed it, wiped it - it doesn't smell.

The truth is already smelling again - I cooked very tasty pork. But more on that tomorrow!

After smoking, you need to cook something in the bowl twice - soup or porridge there. And that's all. The bowl has already given off the smell, and the main lid and gum are not bathed in smoke, since they do not participate in smoking.

They say that this bowl fits here: POLARIS PIP 0501. And if you unscrew the handles from the bowl 523, it can do. They are the same in height. The handles only 523 are wider, they are not included in the gap. I haven't tried it yet. But it’s a pity to throw away the bowl.
