Ingredients

eggs
corrugated paper
water
salt

Cooking method

  • I propose to paint eggs for the holiday in a very affordable way. Practically every woman with children who go to kindergarten or school has materials. These eggs in the photo were painted on April 14, 2012.
  • Ignore the top right photo, these eggs were painted in a different way.
  • We need eggs, plain corrugated paper, not floristic, rubber gloves. For boiling eggs, water, salt, dishes. Newspaper, so as not to smear the table.
  • Krashenki
  • Experienced needlewomen always leave leftovers of something that might come in handy. And from the point of view of others, just rubbish. So I put the corrugated paper scraps in a box just in case. So I won't cut the new one, but I will take these scraps.
  • Krashenki
  • This is how I divided them into colors. We need a stick with water for the coloring process, and a spoon with holes for catching eggs. Everyone knows how to cook eggs, so I will not dwell on this point. Let me just remind you that it is better to add salt to the water, then the eggs will not burst during cooking. By experience, I have found that it is optimal to cook 6 pieces. The temperature will be the most suitable, but you yourself can determine how much is convenient for you to paint. On very hot, the paint will not give beautiful streaks, on already slightly warm it will spread in streams.
  • Krashenki
  • After boiling the eggs, fill them with cold water and take them out, one at a time, from the dishes.
  • Krashenki
  • We moisten the paper of the desired color in a separate bowl and ...
  • Krashenki
  • We begin to dig through the shell. You can even squeeze the paper out from the top. The intensity of the color depends on the color of the paper, the degree of wetting and the pressure applied.
  • Krashenki
  • And thus, we use all the colors that you have in stock.
  • Krashenki
  • Some paint better ...
  • Krashenki
  • Some are worse ... But you can walk several times ...
  • Krashenki
  • The yellow ones are pale ... But from the pink ones, I could not get anything decent. But it may depend on the manufacturer.
  • Krashenki
  • This is lilac paper, in a few passes it turned out to be quite a decent color.

  • Now remember that in photos 2 and 3 gloves appear. Smart people put them on before starting the process. Tanya, from year to year, steps on the same rake ... Maybe she would not, but her brain completely turns off information about gloves until all the eggs are colored.
  • You can wash your fingers with a very simple means available to every craftswoman. This is dishwashing. In the worst cases, wash the dishes twice.
  • But it's better not to forget about gloves.
  • Krashenki
  • These are the eggs we got this time. I painted them specially in order to be in time before the holiday. Suddenly this method will be useful to someone. For our table, I'll paint tomorrow.
  • Krashenki
  • Take a look, specially cleaned so that you make sure that the paint does not penetrate the shell and does not stain the edible part.

Note

Why did I choose this method instead of just buying a ready-made kit? Yes, because somehow I came across a set with very pale flowers ... And the paint often penetrated through the shell and somehow I didn't really want to use such eggs. Who knows what, in fact, is included in the paint.

I hope that the paper used in children's art is somehow more seriously tested for safety.

Giraffe
I wrote that the recording is in the process of loading, bear with me ... Well, this is my Internet today.

Tatyana, and then, as they dry out, do they stain the handles?
Giraffe
Dry instantly and hands do not paint. And the colors can still be superimposed on each other.

Tanya, from year to year, makes the same mistake ...
Neee Tan, you are not the only one ... Zhenya, for the first time in all these years, put on gloves today ...
and then everything is exactly the same as yours ... then I wiped it off with pemolux ... and remembered about them .. when I splashed a lighter egg with dark paint ... and then OH !! gloves ...

It is a pity that I do not have paper, otherwise I would try ... the method .. interesting and affordable !!!
Giraffe
The question is whether Tanya will remember about gloves tomorrow
NataliARH
Tatyana, Zhenya, take Natasha!
It is very interesting about paper painting, these are the useful leftovers!
Giraffe
So also compact leftovers. I put it in a box and put it away until the right time, you never know what you need. In general, to be honest, this is due to the deficit. It is not always possible to find in the store what you need at the moment. At that time I was just "hunting" for paper of the right color. But in fact, not so much of it is needed for coloring. You can cut it off from the roll.
I also made decorative eggs with these remains, in August 2009 ... Everyone thinks that paint strokes with a hard brush. Not one has yet figured out how they were made.

Galinka77
I read everything carefully, corrected it, sorry.
NataliARH
Tatyana, decorative as I understand them on PVA plant? like papier-mâché, only in one layer and with an overlap for beauty, and varnish on top of it? how cool they look! with my daughter on the trail. we will give such gifts

So it's not meant for food? Just a dummy? For beauty?
And then I read about PVA, varnish ...

But how then is it
Quote: Giraffe
the paint does not penetrate the shell and does not stain the edible part.

PS: Aaaa, the first are ordinary eggs, and the second are decorative ...

Giraffe
Decorative, all correctly written, on PVA and varnish. Just making a few layers. It is especially cool when some colors fade and blend more, creating wonderful transitions. In general, in real life, no one recognizes paper, they see only paint applied in a very interesting way. Everyone is trying to figure out how straight, crisp lines and blur are combined.
NataliARH
Thank you! we will definitely do it!
